I want the fairytale which everyone tells me doesn't exist and that's ok, but it would be nice to find a guy that attemted to make me feel like I was his princess at least a couple times a year :( I do believe there are a rare few that experience "true" happiness together. We could learn alot from our elders, they are the ones that celebrate 50th wedding anniversaries, help each other when they both need help and sometimes you can even catch a peek of them holding hands. After 50 years together and still holding hands, that is AMAZING! Sometimes I like to get dressed up and look like a lady and sometimes I just wanna put on a ball cap and t- I can play both parts! But I have to admit I'm more comfortable in my jeans.I love a country boy in those cowboy boots and the country music that goes along with it! I am a sweet girl or so I've been told, I am a Christian and I try by best to live my life that way. Honestly is at the top of my list, if I cannot trust the person I'm with, I don't want to be with him.Really don't care what we do on the first date, dinner or movies are usually the popular choices but I'm going to be interested in talking and learning more about the other person to see if we are compatiable and if we aren't at least we've met someone new.

Hello! I am trying this site to see who I can meet. I am interested in dating and I am open to having a serious relationship. I have been happily single for awhile now; I've been busy with my kids and finding out what makes me happy :) I much prefer meeting in person over *** calling or texting. I think an initial meeting helps discover if there is a "spark", if there is then you can ask me on a date :) I'm not on this site to waste anyone's time, including my own, so that is why I value meeting over messaging.I enjoy working out. It is what I do in my free time. I take three or four fitness classes a week and I enjoy running on different trails near my home and work. Most recently (see pic above), I completed the Dirty Girl 5k; it was tons if fun! Next up is the Women Rock MN 10k. Very exciting!This will seen counter productive from my last paragraph, but so be it! I bake bread for the family and I enjoy baking treats. I think it would be amazing to own my own bakery someday.I have a job that is not my dream but I am good at it and enjoy what I do (usually!).I do not smoke and want to find someone who also does not smoke. I only drink socially and I am very against drinking and driving. I have pretty much left the party scene behind. I still enjoy going out and having fun, I just choose to do so without the hangover.I love to see live music! My tastes lean toward more alternative music (I may be stuck a bit in the 90's). Some of my faves are TV on the Radio, Blind Melon, Tool, Liz Phair, etc.I am very independent. I own a home and I am pretty handy. I would like to find someone who is also independent (aka: you don't live with your mom or have her do your laundry!)I love to have fun! I am honest, witty, and intelligent. I hope you have similar traits.I am looking to meet new people, date, and see what happens from there. I feel that relationships require a natural evolution and should not be forced. At that point, we can date. This may be a little traditional, but I won't be asking you on a first date. I may ask if you would like to meet me for coffee or whatever but when it comes to that "date", I think the man should ask.

I used to be the girl next door, but I guess now I am the woman next door. I am active. Whether I am teaching, working the concession stand at the ballpark or watching my son play ball at the ballpark, working out at the gym, or just keeping up with my two teens and their lives, I am moving. When I am at home, I enjoy being at home watching old movies or reruns and being still for a little while. My time on the treadmill is spent reading. My favorite books lately are science fiction and fantasy books. I like all different types of music (pop, rock, country, classical)...my favorite though is 80's music. I am not a big fan of music that is angry or degrading to a race or gender. My strengths are that I am genuinely caring, I am witty and look for humor in things , and I look for the good in others. I am also willing to try new adventures or redo old adventures with new people. I will act shy at first, but it fades fast. A first date for me would be time together in which we can talk and get to know each other while having fun. Doing something out and about would make me most comfortable. Playing mini golf, an amusement park, batting cages all provide activity but the freedom to talk. A sporting event would be a great idea also (baseball of course is my favorite, but I really like all sports). I am not as adventurous in eating. So I wouldn't enjoy a fancy restaurant. Anywhere I can get BBQ or a salad or chicken makes me happy and usually provides a comfy atmosphere to share with someone new.
