Today we want to tell you the story of Louise and Todd who have met on Meetville app 5 months ago.

A letter from Louise:

I decided to sign up for Meetville with a friend. It seemed more like a joke at that time. At first, I didn't take it seriously, mostly because I already had a negative online dating experience two years ago. This time it wasn't all that good as well. My friend was having fun and I was about to quit. Until I saw this guy.

One of the reasons why I noticed him was the book he had mentioned in his profile. Apparently, his favorite book 'Moby-Dick' was the one I had just finished reading. I thought it was a sign.

I was the one to text him first. Only two or three messages after, he asked me out. As it turned out, we lived just a few blocks from each other, however, that day we agreed to meet at a neutral location.

We had a few more dates and it was great but I had a feeling that he was not that much into me and maybe he was not enjoying these dates as much as I was. So, I stopped texting him for a while and after a few days of silence, I thought that this was the end and he didn't want to see me anymore. I was really upset with this guy and this whole dating experience but few days after he started texting me again.

We met again and tried to talk about our feelings. Apparently, he just didn't want to rush the things. And (can you believe it?) he also had a feeling that I didn't like him. Ridiculous!

Who would ever think that this kind of relationship would work out?! But we are now a couple and planning to move in together very soon.

People like me never consider online dating as a place where they can meet the love of their life. But it's true and it's working. Me and Todd are a perfect example :)
