A little about me in no particular order:I am a happy person. I like to surround myself with others who inspire me. I can’t believe I’m back in school at this point in my life but also don’t regret it. I love garlic- I’ve heard that this is only a good thing if everyone else you're with is eating it too. Not that anyone has ever spoken to me about my garlic problem though. Ok, it’s really not bad but I do love Mediterranean food which usually contains garlic. I also love raspberries, oh yeah blueberries too. I’m a carnivore but have been known to frequent many a vegetarian restaurant. I LOVE red wine. White wine can be very good too but champagne is my favorite. I like excitement. I love to travel- preferably where I have to use a good translation tool or my crazy sign language to communicate. I love and miss the symphony. I have been told I have very nice diction. I also have been told I have nice eyes. I like people. I am an extrovert. I can’t remember my Myers-’s a good one. I am curious by nature. I can sometimes talk a lot. I like to kiss. ;o) I like to sit by the fire. I like to go camping. I have also learned to appreciate nice hotels and their spas. I do not like to fish. I definitely do not hunt- unless it’s for a special pair of shoes or a perfect dress. I’m a woman for crying out loud! I like water; ocean, lake, river, they’re all good. I like to ski. I would like to sky dive. I like my family. I have many friends all over the world. Did I mention I like to travel?After 15 years of a successful career in Human Resources, I decided to make a change and go back to school for Nursing. I made the change because I wanted a career that was both fulfilling and meaningful. I would like to focus on pediatric oncology. I have had much contact with these types of children through my volunteering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and know how special these children are. While I've been told by some this sounds depressing, I know how magical the smile of a child is and that one laugh or smile is all that's needed to make your day.I’m really looking forward to meeting my best friend and spending the rest of my life with him. I’ve done so much of everything I want to do in my life though travel and crazy times, I feel like I’m definitely ready to move forward onto the next phase. I want someone to be there with me to share those special moments. I'm very independent and happy but it would all be so much more fun with that someone special. I’m not desperate to get married and start a family though. I really would love it, but it has to be right -I am not going to settle. I love kids and one day I would love to have some of my own. Not to offend anyone but if you are super religious, we're not the right fit. While I respect all religions, I am not looking to be saved or converted. I know who I am, and I follow the golden rule: Do onto others as you would have done onto yourself. **Please read above paragraph carefully, I would love to have children one day if it works out- meaning a great relationship, etc... If you are not interested in the possibility of having a baby one day in the future then you should definitely pass me up. This is very, very important to me.Things I have learned that I do not understand about men on this site; Why do they:• Post multiple pictures holding a fish they just caught? Hunter/gatherer? I don’t know any women that really dig that kind of thing… but then again I am from a big city. • Post profile pictures wearing a hat and sunglasses. Are they going incognito? • *** they don’t have any photo’s posted. How did you decide to *** the first place? It’s a two way street Bucko so ante up and post your picture or you probably won’t be hearing back from us. I think it would be nice to grab dinner or a drink somewhere and get to know each other. I'm open to a lot of different ideas as well, concerts, festivals, etc. I'd like to take it slow and see where it leads.

So a bit about me: I'm just a bit shy and quiet when you first met me, yet easy-going and friendly and out-going once you've met me. I am not one to talk your ear off. I've been told that I am funny and make people laugh (not quite sure how to take this -- do they mean I make them laugh as comedienne, or a source of laughter and ridicule - I guess that's up for you to decide. I can and do tend to be sarcastic and snarky but only with good intentions. I love to laugh and not take things too serious (tried that route before, didn't quite work out well for me). Games are only fun when everyone knows and plays by the same rules. I am not a good game player, strategies always ellude me - Sun Tzi would make an example of me. Drama belongs on TV or the movie screen. (I tried to get rid of it but i think the Voodoo priestesses ripped me off) At this point in my life, I want simple and easy...Believe it or not I've made it this far without heavy duty baggage ( i think a lot of it got lost back in ***???? Any ways, I don't have the claim stub, so it doesn't matter) I like 60's and 80's music with a bit of ABBA and Mozart thrown in. But can rock out just as good.I like to learn new things and will try almost anything just about once (maybe). So with that said, I am always learning something new about myself and the world everyday. I just recently discovered that I might have the travel bug and would eventually like visit a few places. But for now, going to Vegas for long weekends is the extent of it. And just once, i would like to do a "guy's weekend in Vegas" the whole whiskey and cigars, all night long at the craps table sort of thing. A bit about you: Someone who enjoys laughing yet knows when to be serious...likes the fine and good things in life yet can appreciate Honest Ed's style. You "give in" to go ballroom dancing one night and "make me" go to a Jay's game the next. You know what Wednesday and Saturday matinees means. You like to volunteer and help out at charity events. There are times for going out or staying in and watching that night t.v line-up. Willing to try out new stuff but also know to stick to the tried and true. And once in awhile sit back and be amazed with what crazy and whacky things civilization is up to.Someone who willing to learn new things with me and teach me things they've learned. You like to suit-up and have legend- wait for it- dary day/nites (bonus if you know what this is in reference to)and go dancing and dining, but you don't mind staying at home and watching T.V. (and yes, we can even watch hockey, football or your guilty pleasure of DWTS***but my club days and nights are long gone and in the past (R.I.P.)But the reality is, we are all just looking someone who can be happy with what we can offer and vice-versa...If you made it this far, yay!If I added you as a favourite - was surfing on the phone and your profile caught my attention for one reason or another.
