Just wanted to preface this with something. Somehow my profile said I 'wanted to date but nothing serious'. Not sure how that happened because I'm looking for something long term. Well...I am divorced, I have had alot of personal growth in the last year and am a much stronger and confident person than I have ever been. I know what I want out of life and a partner and that's a great feeling:) I love music. No matter what kind of day I'm having, music always makes it better and I sing in my car with no regard to who may be watching. I'm sure I look nuts but I don't really care lol:) In high school I was into hard rock and I seem to still really love the hair bands from that time:) I also like new country and top 40. I love pop culture and movies. I am a foodie! I love to experience different cultural cuisines. I'm a big fan of sushi. Traveling is something I have done and hope to do more of, because I love learning about history and seeing new places. Something else that I love but don't have any of...tattoos! I've always loved them and have been attracted to men with them for as long as I can remember. Of course though, that has to go hand in hand with a really good person. I wouldn't date someone just because they do or don't have tattoos.My goals in life are simple: to be happy and healthy and to have love and good relationships in my life. I am not a size 0 and don't have any interest in being that, ever. I like that I have curves and something to hold onto. I mainly want to be healthy and feel good in my own skin. And I really appreciate men who embrace that.I'm not trying to be something that I'm not, I am just me...real, human and sometimes flawed, not perfect...but I have a good heart, I love to laugh and it would be great to find someone who feels the same. I love to capture life in art and enjoy how others have captured it. - I love the fullness of ordinary moments. Sometimes the smallest moments in our lives turn out to be the largest. Sometimes the hardest moments turn out to be the best for us. I know that every moment is magical and I'm working on becoming conscious of each of them so I can appreciate and learn from every one. - I love new experiences, new adventures and travel. This world is so beautiful and intense and funny and textured and sacred. I enjoy it deeply and with full interest. - I love the word "resplendent." Everything shines with splendour - we just need to look at it with openness to that.- I love quiet time to chill and re-connect with myself. This year I'm working with a colleague/friend to launch an awareness education program. I'm also working on illustrating several children's books that I've written. In spare time, I make art of various kinds, volunteer and study Indian classical dance.As far as consuming art (as opposed to making it), I also have pretty wide tastes. I love movies and a few tv shows as well (though I don't own a tv).I have a rich life and a wonderful community and I'm interested in finding a partner to share all of it with.
