The Bait - a divorced single mother with three sons (almost 17, 15 and 12). What a catch huh? What you get - A woman who know's her own mind, can be funny, sarcastic, loving, loyal, spontaneous, unusual in my own way, (and I'm human so I do have faults.) I have my preferences ***'s, top 40's, some mild (mild?) rap, rock, and lately some hard rock... Ok,sometimes I really enjoy some country, too but not too often. Classical on a rare occasion... I'm not overly fond of jazz. Yeah, I don't like jazz. I like puzzles. As in putting little pieces together to form a pretty picture kind of puzzle. Simple ones. ***pc) That way I can turn on some relevant to my mood music, sing along (off pitch and barely on melody) and sometimes just mindlessly put the little pieces together, reflecting on my day, the past, my sons, or perhaps the future and what it may bring. Join me sometime - the conversations could be endless, enlightening and entertaining or just plain silly. I love laughing until I cry. Sometimes I snort. I'm a girly girl like that, you know. (sarcasm!!!)I'm not interested in being around anyone who does any kind of drugs, even if it's "only once in a while." Drugs are not my thing and if you want to be around me, even as a friend, please respect that ok? Best way to impress me? Keep it simple and real. I don't care if you fly a jet plane, drive a beater car or chose to walk - what's important is the way you treat me (including strangers on the street) and the respect and devotion you show me will be returned tenfold.***updateI decided to update this for a few reasons, but primarily because I felt I needed to add a few things to my profile. If It appears I don't answer you back right away, just give it a bit. There are times I send messages from my phone but they don't post - it's something I've just recently noticed. On a walk - if I say that couple looks cute walking hand in hand... maybe that's your first hint that I'd like for you to ask to take my hand, or for you to just do it. Also - I'm short and have short legs! if you are over 6 feet tall and are walking ahead of me to the point that I have to nearly jog to keep up... yeah, not really a good indication that you are interested and I will react accordingly. I've been called stand-offish.... I don't mean to be. But if it's something you notice, perhaps trying to draw me out or make me laugh. It's likely that I'm unsure how your feeling or what you are thinking and I draw within myself unknowingly. Draw me out! There is a whole lot going on inside that the right guy will be able to bring out of me. I'm a very loving, forgiving, optimistic person that has a whole lot to give to the right guy who can figure me out.- the guy who figures me out, or "get's me" will likely capture my heart.I could rattle off ***things about me, my life or the reasons I'm where I'm at today both physically and emotionally, but everyone has a story to tell. Hi there!I have been on this site a year and half now and it seems the site/people haven't changed too much. I'm not sure why I continue with the site, maybe its the hope of finding love and believing it's out there reguardless of whether your on the net, bar or maybe even the grocery store. I have, however had no luck with either concept. I remain hopeful that someday I'll meet that guy that just gets me, and I him as well. I have been on a few dates from guys that I've met from the site. I have had some really great phone conversations but they all seem to end the same. I really have to admit even though I will be 38 soon, I truly still don't understand men. I'm not here to find "one night stands" nor am I willing to settle for that matter, I'm looking for the "real deal". I have been in love and I have lost love, I know what they both feel like and I know how scary they can be too. The guy I want to meet doesn't have to be perfect he just has to be perfect to me. Perfection is different to everyone my kinda perfect, is the guy that laughs, has fun, enjoys life. Live life to the fullest that way you'll have no regrets. I do want to fall in love again someday, however I want it to happen as it's suppose to no rushing just falling. It would be nice to for the guy to feel the sameway with me. I often wonder "am I crazy" haha not like that, but to think that love can still happen for me. I was married for 10 years (seperated the last 2 years) and I enjoyed married life and I've discovered that married life suits me and that single life isn't all that exciting, at least not to me. There are many things I can say about myself like how I'm confident, strong, motivated, romantic, and very outgoing, however at the end of the day these are just words its actually what you see with your own two eyes that's really matters. All I really hope is someday someone see's me for me and love's everything about me, I want that kinda of love that you see in couple's that have been married for 50 years. They just get one another, they know what they both need and want, sometimes even without words. I stay hopeful that this too will happen for me. I know that putting this all out there might scare some, however I've been on here for this long what do I have to lose. I'm tired of hearing how much of a sweetheart I am and tired of being let down. I'm not here for games, I am just looking for love. There is a lot more about me and I would love to share it with the right person. I'll say this, I love music (countrygirl), movies, and just spending time with good company doing whatever may come our way.
