I'd like to start off by saying that I don't want to be someone's 'you'll do'. Not looking to rush anything, there is no biological clock ticking ever louder in the background. I've done the family/marriage thing and unfortunately it didn't turn out the way I would've liked. But it's all good. The ex and I are on good terms (well as good as can be) and share custody of the kids. So that being said, I'm not looking for a father for my kids, but more of a good role model that's around : ). I'd like to ultimately find someone who wants to experience all that life has to offer. Travelling, camping, hiking, or taking in a live band. I think life is about collecting experiences. I'm someone who is starting all over again... trying to put the past behind, while remembering to learn from it and learning to make my own happiness on my own terms. I'm a creative person, I used to run my own design firm offering contract design in a variety of industries, fashion, costume, graphics, events, decor, performing... I'm always doing something and its always something different. I've done the career thing, starting at an early age, and i've done the freelance thing. Right now i'm not worrying so much about career as much as I am focussing on becoming the person i want to be to create the life i want, day by day, bit by bit. I'm a bit of a contradiction. I can be forgetful and flighty but also am very responsible and sensible. I can be a total chatter box and also enjoy the sound of silence. I like movies and music of all types. I love animals and have a beautiful female boxer. The beach is one of my favorite places to be and I can spend all day relaxing there. I love to go out with friends to bars or spend time on the water but I also love to stay home with a good movie and popcorn. I like to read and sing in the car.
