OK...so one of my friends found a wonderful "keeper" on this site and I have new found hope! Where are you Mr. Sexy (to me anyway) who makes my heart beat faster when you walk into the room?Number one...I have a big heart and I like to share it with the people who mean most to me. I am loyal and kind and expect the same from the people I let in to my life. I love my cat, Checkers, who I adopted from the pound 15 minutes before they were to euthanize her, what a waste of a precious sweet life that would have been! She brings me laughter and joy, she is such a "dog" cat. She loves to play rough and she loves riding in cars (totally weird for a cat). I would love to have more animals, but am limited as I own a townhouse with no real yard (I absolutely love big dogs!!!) I am an artist and I really enjoy what I do. I paint mostly murals and faux finishes in private homes and businesses in town. As an artist I do well, but I wish someone would step in and be my business manager, as I still have trepidation about naming my price (but over the years I have become much more adept at it!).I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing poker (a passion! Five times now...even touched the river!), fast cars, classic rock, Disneyland, Europe, Fiji, New Zealand...and I am up for new adventures and experiences as well. I am very upbeat and fun...don't like hanging with the downer people who complain too much. I am a pop culture/music trivia buff and can be playfully competetive. I am spiritual but not religious. I believe the God of the Universe is huge and is there for me every second of every day and that I am cared for. I hope to meet my true soul mate. To clear things up I no longer use drugs.That was a lifetime ago! But those days sure were fun! I am very involved in community projects and volunteering.I manage a non profit community center and love to organize events there. It takes a village and I am part of it! I co manage a farmers market too, really fun!I absolutely love to cook ( and do so professionally ) and enjoy going to out of the way places and meeting the locals and trying different cuisine. Always some good stories and local lore to be heard.I enjoy a cold beer or nice glass of wine too. Would love to meet someone who is a foodie too so that I don't make you crazy talking about food all the time:) I am a morning person and always keep a smile on my face. I figure if I have a problem it's mine and the rest of the world does not need to be bothered with it.I'll figure it out sooner or later.There is nothing like sitting around a campfire on a chilly night ( love to camp) or hearing the waves crash on the beach in the morning.I moved to GA from CT 21 years ago.I have two pretty cool kids..one in college , one still at home but moving soon. Empty nest time!I am kind of independent and tend to get right to the point when talking about things. Having some separate experiences and coming together to share them makes things more interesting! But I do like to travel and experience new things, and would love to explore the country and the world with someone special whenever the opportunity arises! Somewhere we can get to know each other, have a meal, maybe take a walk, see if there's a little spark!
