Music must be in my life, I enjoy concerts from symphonic to blues.... don't watch much TV although I do enjoy the tennis channel...and foreign films are often a draw for me....I respect those who participate in community service as I volunteer my time to support the arts/music for the local schools and youth music groups. Love visiting botanical gardens or nurseries to enjoy the diversity and peace that only plants can give. I like to create things with my hands, sewing, knitting and have recently tried ceramics on the pottery wheel. Life is about doing, but I have also learned that it is also a wonderful journey to learn from, be it strife or joy, I enjoy reading about human behavior, psychology and motivation, gardening and science. I could meet you for a latte at Peets coffee, a drink, talk by the ocean, but prefer to hit some balls over the net, walk on a trail or a short bike ride...kayaking would be lovely...maybe on a second date or we could go hear some live music....and in SC that's not hard to do is it?

You may say you want someone with "no drama" but lets be honest drama is a part of life, It is how one deals with it. I love life and find thepositive in most situations and in most people. Why dwell on the negative when forward movement happens with a positive out look! So let's let the sun shine in our spirit! I love the great outdoors,which includes many of the fun things to do like hiking, fishing,biking gardening,canoeing or kayaking,camping(in tents)swimming,campfires,picnics, BBQ's,grilling, sunrises and sunsets,star gazing and thunderstorms.Yes there is more for the list but we can talk about that later. I am not one to hit the malls for a day of shopping, nor do I waste my time and money getting my hair and nails done at the salon. I prefer to do it myself. I love to sew and crochet. I enjoy cooking and baking often from scratch. I try to stay healthy in the foods I make, staying away from processed foods. I love to go to the farmers market. I enjoy walking around the lake and doing yoga almost on a daily basis. Family and friends are important to me. I have 4 adult children and 7 grandkids which bring me much happiness. I believe in family traditions,such as after church on sunday its a family dinner. Its always a good time to connect after a busy week. I do some volunteering but would like to do more. I enjoy most music and like to dance. I don't care for rap and some country. I love to travel and have been to many beautiful places and there are many more places I want to see.
