Hello all! I'm looking for someone to spend time with and enjoy what each day brings.I miss the connection that comes with a relationship, and having someone there for me and me for them. For many years I thought I wasn't in a hurry to settle down again but now realize that I'm missing out on the opportunity to make memories with "my" someone. I've been divorced for 11 years, have one grown son, a future daughter-in-law, one dog and two cats and a job that I enjoy. I work with animals and have been blessed with the chance to make a difference in their lives. I don't have one particular thing I HAVE to do in my spare time. I'm always up for adventure and spur of the moment activities. I enjoy spending time with friends, grilling out or dining out, and being outdoors. However, I don't mind vegging out in front of the TV sometimes (who doesn't love the occasional lazy day?). My friends have been telling me lately that I don't get out enough so maybe I can change that. It's time for my new chapter in life to begin and I'm hoping this chapter includes someone I can't go a minute without thinking about! This is my second time on meetville and I'm hopeful that this time around will be better. While I understand that each person on here has their own agenda and are free to pursue what they're looking for, I need to make it clear what the "rules of engagement" are when contacting me~~be honest! If you're looking for a promising future with someone, say so. If you're looking to date, with no interest in commitment in your future, say so! I'm not a mind reader, guys! :) There is nothing more annoying than taking time to get to know someone based on what they say, only to discover their intent is the exact opposite. True? I am technically a single parent, although my older two are out living on their own and my youngest didn't want to move right before senior year, so she is living with my ex husband. I've been divorced for 15 years now. I am not active in church at this time bc I haven't found a church 'home' since moving, but even when I am active, I'm not a religious freak. I'm fairly liberal, yet conservative in some areas - go figure. I'm not a girlie girl, or high maintenance, but I do have a thing about purses !! I love sports, more and more watching and not playing, but I don't live by any certain team schedule - getting out and living is far more important ! I also like camping, fishing, drag racing, motorcycle rides on my bike (or yours), poker runs, playing cards, bbq with friends, NASCAR, Top Fuel, shooting pool, boating, float trips, anything water related, I'm there !! I am open to trying anything, within reason... tired of sitting on the sidelines of life. I'm not a slob or a neat freak, I'm somewhere in between. The thing I miss most about not being in a relationship is having another adult to share my life with; intimacy, holding hands, and someone to hide behind watching a scary movie. Call me a romantic if you must, but there is nothing like that feeling when a single touch can run a shiver up and down your spine. I'm hoping to find a man that's honest, caring, capable of being sensitive, but a man's man, if you know what I mean. And here's the deal, I ride a motorcycle 75% of the time. I've tried dating guys in the past that don't ride, and it just doesn't work. So I HAVE to add in here that you MUST ride a bike... not like bikes, not used to own one, not going to buy one some day, but you need to have one now, and ride it, or there's just no point. I'm sorry, harsh reality, I know, but I am what I am and I'm not about to change !! Just as I wouldn't try to change you. So here's the tricky part, since I'm not into one night stands or couples or any of that....but I'm not into JUST "vanilla" sex either... so it would help if you're kinky, adventurous, creative, willing to explore...and have a high sex drive....and no, I don't want to teach any of you young pups, etc. so don't bother writing. I have more freedom now than I have had in years &- I don't have a problem going to bars, or live music anywhere. However, if you live night after night in a bar, or you drink daily, heavy drinker, alcoholic, etc - we will not be a match. I need a man that knows his limit and I don't have to babysit. If you want to date several women at once and keep them all waiting for your call - we will not be a match. And if you're only interested in a woman for her looks, a barbi girl to show off to your friends, pass on by, cause I'm far from Barbi !! And last but not least, if you're looking for a one night stand - we will not be a match. *Please take this next part to heart, it's VERY important !! I am writer at heart and LOVE communication. Life's too short, and I'd rather be alone than involved with someone that puts me on a shelf and only takes me down to 'play' when he wants too. I'm as real as they come, ask me anything, I'll answer honestly, and that, may very well be why I'm still single. So if you really don't want the honest truth, don't ask. Good luck finding what you're searching for, I'm very close to throwing in the towel... too many games out there. I'd suggest some place quiet over coffee, but might be a little too intimidating for some? Coke's sitting on our bike's looking out over a lake, stars lighting the surface of the water while we talk? Game of pool over a cold beer? Where or what doesn't matter, it's the "who" that really matters ! I'm pretty open to suggestions. First dates are not a problem for me, it's second dates that require a little more thought and planning !!
