To start off I have been permanetly separated since june ***. It is not bitter so until I have a reason to file papers that will end up leaving him with out health insurance (new priority in my life) i will stay seperated. I do work a lot. In fact I would not consider leaving my job for at least another 8 years. I wear a hard hat and steal toed shoes at work yet i love to wear 3 to 5 inch heals when i go out. If i can get away with it i will dance barefoot when going out dancing. As far as music, one of my sayings is that I like a little bit of every type of music yet not everything of any kind of music. Good conversation is a must, In general there are not many activities that I cant find something about it that I like. To learn or experience something new is a good thing. I have no fears other than those of common sense. (Sticking your hand in a lions mouth qualifies.) I like doing things together, cook, construction, woodworking, gardening, road trips, dancing a definite bonus. I don’t mind going to social events with friends by myself. I am a very independent, but I prefer a ***relationship. I am looking for that special person. I will not settle for a companion that is a best friend or a pet. I am hoping to fall in love. And all that goes with it. It’s a shame when your partner can be gone for a couple of days and you don’t even think to call them let a lone not call. I want to miss you. I am technically a single parent, although my older two are out living on their own and my youngest didn't want to move right before senior year, so she is living with my ex husband. The thing I miss most about not being in a relationship is having another adult to share my life with; intimacy, holding hands, and someone to hide behind watching a scary movie. Call me a romantic if you must, but there is nothing like that feeling when a single touch can run a shiver up and down your spine. I'm hoping to find a man that's honest, caring, capable of being sensitive, but a man's man, if you know what I mean. He would have to not only tolerate kids and the noise and mess that comes with them, but actually enjoy being around them. You have to like dogs, tolerate cats, and not be afraid of reptiles. I'm a jeans & t-shirt kind of girl, and although I do dress up occasionally, I'm more comfortable hanging out with someone in jeans over a suit. And here's the deal, I ride a motorcycle 75% of the time. I've tried dating guys in the past that don't ride, and it just doesn't work. So I HAVE to add in here that you MUST ride a bike... not like bikes, not used to own one, not going to buy one some day, but you need to have one now, and ride it, or there's just no point. I'm sorry, harsh reality, I know, but I am what I am and I'm not about to change !! Just as I wouldn't try to change you. So here's the tricky part, since I'm not into one night stands or couples or any of that....but I'm not into JUST "vanilla" sex either... so it would help if you're kinky, adventurous, creative, willing to explore...and have a high sex drive....and no, I don't want to teach any of you young pups, etc. so don't bother writing. I have more freedom now than I have had in years &- I don't have a problem going to bars, or live music anywhere. However, if you live night after night in a bar, or you drink daily, heavy drinker, alcoholic, etc - we will not be a match. I need a man that knows his limit and I don't have to babysit. If you want to date several women at once and keep them all waiting for your call - we will not be a match. And if you're only interested in a woman for her looks, a barbi girl to show off to your friends, pass on by, cause I'm far from Barbi !! And last but not least, if you're looking for a one night stand - we will not be a match. *Please take this next part to heart, it's VERY important !! I am writer at heart and LOVE communication. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but I'm looking for a partner, someone real. I'm not interested in getting involved with anyone that doesn't have the time to put into a relationship or isn't up to making an effort. Life's too short, and I'd rather be alone than involved with someone that puts me on a shelf and only takes me down to 'play' when he wants too. While I am looking for a long term type of relationship, I'm in no hurry to jump in without going through the process of becoming friends, dating, etc. So don't let that scare you off, and if things don't 'click' between us, then we both made a new friend, and I don't know anyone who has too many friends !! (Especially when they're new in town !!) Oh, and here's a hint guys - if you get drunk the first time we meet, guess what ? BINGO !! No second date ! If you oogle every woman in the joint on our first time meeting, again, no second chance. And please, high school is over, no baby mama drama, no drama queen daughters, etc. I think that just about covers everything. I'm as real as they come, ask me anything, I'll answer honestly, and that, may very well be why I'm still single. So if you really don't want the honest truth, don't ask. Good luck finding what you're searching for, I'm very close to throwing in the towel... too many games out there. I'd suggest some place quiet over coffee, but might be a little too intimidating for some? Coke's sitting on our bike's looking out over a lake, stars lighting the surface of the water while we talk? Game of pool over a cold beer? Where or what doesn't matter, it's the "who" that really matters ! I'm pretty open to suggestions. First dates are not a problem for me, it's second dates that require a little more thought and planning !!
