As you can tell from my pictures, I am a down-to-Earth kind of girl. I can dress up, but I'd rather be in a pair of my favorite jeans, shorts, or a simple dress. My boys play baseball, basketball, and football so that is often where my Saturday lies. As far as sports with the kids...It's fun getting to know the kids and watching them progress through the season and through the years. It is also a great time to get to know other adults who have equal interest in their children. I love spending time with friends and family and I love having people over to the house. I also like to have time for just me and my companion or just us and the kids. I am an affectionate girl and I want that in my companion. I want to feel like something is missing when my partner is not with me. I want to look forward to seeing a text or a phone call from my companion and I want them to feel the same. I want to be loved as deeply as I love. I feel that passion and chemistry are "must-haves". I don't want to fuss and argue as that's no way to enjoy life together. I'd rather discuss something and compromise. I'm easy to talk to and I get along with everyone except for hateful men or women who are miserable and mad at the world. :) I don't understand those people and I get away from them as fast as possible.I want a best friend whom I can't live without. I feel that partners should look out for one another, whether it's bringing the other a drink or taking care of them when they're sick or down. I want someone who will lean on me and allow me to lean on them as life goes on. I want to be treated like a lady. I will respect an honor another as much as they respect and honor me. I want someone who doesn't feel it is solely a woman's job to do housework. If everyone in the house helps a few minutes a day, the house will stay clean. :) I am conservative with money and I will not spend myself into debt, but I will spend money to have nice things within reason and to have fun.All in all...I am looking for someone who is sincere, respectful, caring, and honest, who has a sense of humor and can laugh at life. I appreciate someone who is laid back yet hard-working and who has time for a companion and for family. I am not usually the center of attention, but I don't mind if you are. NORMAL – I’m a normal girl, I’m simply looking for someone who can grow to love me and all of my quirks, I’m looking for someone who is faithful and honest, someone who will put the work it takes to pull off the greatest long-term relationship in history with the expected hope of possibly getting married again down the road, or at least a committed one. I’m a relationship type of girl and that's what you should be.. minus the "girl" part. Yes, I want kids someday, but my focus isn’t on kids .. it’s on having a love that I can’t live without. If I can get that, kids will naturally come. And if they don’t, I will still feel fulfilled.GIRLIE – I’m girlie – yes, that means romantic movies, manicures/pedicures, and thinking of those darned dandelions in the yard as flowers. I have a SUPER fluffy cat that I curl up to and who keeps my feet warm in the winter. I like when my guy picks me flowers (especially flowers you find in nature as it takes more effort to do that). I like the thought that people put into things. I like the color pink (but yellow is my favorite color, followed closely by red). I will go out of my way to look nice for my guy. I will smile at the thought of him and think of him often throughout the day, although I may not tell him until I’m comfortable with him. I take care in how I look for him. Sometimes, I will do funky things with my toe polish and I have my “wild woman” times – I am cutesy and giggly sometimes. SELF-SUFFICIENT – Yes, I like manicures, pedicures, getting my hair done and every other girlie thing on the planet. NO, I do not want/expect you to pay for it. If I can’t pay for it, I will do without it. It makes me a tad bit uncomfortable to take things from people because I provide for me. It also makes me feel indebted, which causes me shame. SO, I don’t need you for money. I work for what I want. As such, you don’t have to be rich. But, you need to be able to afford your own life’s choices and support your own lifestyle separate from me. JOKER – I laugh a lot! I laugh at me and everything around me. I’m always laughing, joking around, I’m playful and light-hearted and silly… BUT, it may take me trusting you to get me to be that way around you. This leads me to my next point …GUARDED - I’m kind of guarded at this point. I’d love nothing better than to let my hair down, but I need to build trust first. I don’ I do tend to give the benefit of the doubt.PASSIONATE – I’m a very passionate person. I like intimacy, I like being close and feeling close to someone. I give massages, I love to hug and cuddle, and I adore kissing. And when I love, I go ALL IN and focus all of my energy at that person (because LOVE is first and foremost on my life map – everything else is secondary). I don’t hold anything back and I am looking for the same. If you don’t open yourself up and let yourself be vulnerable to someone, you won’t let them near your heart. CAREER-MINDED/SMART - I’m focused, driven and achievement-oriented. I’ve now got my MBA in both Finance and Management from RIT. Admittedly, I’m not where I want to be with my career, but I’m actively working on it. I want someone to be working on their career if they don’t like where they are. You have a choice about how you live your life: own the choices you make or make better choices.SELF-IMPROVEMENT – I’m focused on making myself the best I can be. This means, I’ll always be trying to make my body (read: workout) and mind (read: life experiences, books, whatever it takes) better and it’s important to me that I meet someone who has the same mentality. Yes, I have lazy moments and I get tired, but I try my best. I like to curl up with my kitty and watch TV some nights when I’m feeling lazy. :)DEDICATED – When I’m in a relationship, I don’t turn tail and run at the first sign of hardship. If something is not working, I WORK on it, I don’t BAIL. I try to understand the other side, even if I don’t agree with it, and I try to make sure he has what he needs in the relationship to feel good about it. I’m attentive, giving and I love to do nice things for the guy in my life. I’m hoping to find someone who can do the same, to be a friend and a partner.ROMANTIC – I love slow dancing, holding hands, long kisses, touching, etc. I daydream about the guy, I send “I’m thinking of you” texts, I try to give small surprises frequently, I try HARD to make him smile… INQUISITIVE – I ask a ton of questions at first.
