I can't really say what I would prefer a first date to be, other than, use this time to get to know the person. I would not prefer the first date to be something like going to a movie. If we were to go to a movie, we are not giving the other person our attention. The attention would be on the movie...so I don't recommend that for a first date. Something more along the lines of a picnic, a museum, an amusement park, a zoo, or maybe even walk around a city/town and explore what that town has to offer. This way, we are doing something together, with the opportunity to talk and get to know what each likes and doesn't. I think those things would probably be good for a SECOND date...so how about, the first date be a casual, get to know each other conversation during a nice walk or a cup of coffee?

I am a single mom. I love my children, my two puppies and my job. I love to laugh and would love to meet someone that can do that with me. I am painfully independant but not overbearing.
