As far as the guys go, it's tuff because we are physical beings, while woman are more emotionally based. I think the sooner you accept that the better. And sex is great but better with that special someone (yes, emotionally based). Finding that one is the hardest part!! SO! Having said that, here I am. HMMPH! Me: country, tattooed, animal lover, playful, loyal, communicative, work out but (not insanely), head strong, conservative, military mama, reserved, respectful, one on one kinda girl (not a serial dater), caring and loving. I'm the kind of girl who doesn't do things half ass. Say what ya mean, mean what ya say. Action does speak a whole lot louder than words....Can you back it up, or are you just yelling into the wind? Ok maybe I have a bit of a roughness to me as well?,...can't help it, I was raised around guys lol But I can be quite soft, warm and loving with the right person. Team player--but "team" as in my partnership with a man, not as in a relationship with the entire soccer team "team" HA! :) I love to laugh....most times it's at myself just cause if I didn't find some humor in some of the things life throws at me, I might have to be in a straight jacket! Love to laugh but know when to be serious. Love a new adventure. Miss romance. What happened to that anyway? Why are most guys out for "it" (between their legs), and not "it" (inside their chest) anymore? Its such a turn off when guys just talk about "it" as tho "it" is unattached to the rest of the body. ya know what I mean? Inanimate. You know we are connected to it all..Mind, heart, spirit, body. That "wired" thing,...see above again. Some of you need to think before you speak. yea? Not attracted to overweight, older, non white men. Sorry, its just not for me. We are old enough at this point to know what we like and don't. Right? Oh yea,...and when if I say six pack, and beer comes to your mind, probably need to keep going. Drunks are a no go. Social drinking on occassion is just fine but every nite,..not so much. No drugs, no married, no BS...no drama! ain't nobody got time for that! First off, I do not think I am God's gift to every man....but I do think I am God's gift to one man. Somewhere out there is exactly the match that was created for me and vise versa. Everyone you meet will not be relationship material...so call it what it is. I am looking for the one, but I am not opposed to making some great friends along the way. I am not looking for a man to pay my bills, play daddy to my daughter or mow my lawn. I have all of that under control. I need a man to enjoy life with me, laugh at stuff that only we would understand and have some degree of meaningful conversation. He needs to have a great sense of humor and a keen sense of when I am being sarcastic and how to read that sarcasm. I always seem to fall for the guy with an attitude or at the very least overstated confidence. Wish that fact were not true, but it is what it is. I do believe that you have a pretty good idea from the get-go if there is an attraction and should be honest and not waste someone else's time by "settling" until something that feels right comes along. People get hurt that way and I do not play games with emotions. If it turns out to be friendship...call it friendship and hang out and have good times all the same."Serious user" seals out by your picture scream desperate and getting no mail. I do not do high maintenance men who have nothing to do but chit chat. I want someone who has a LIFE outside of this site. Travel is my passion and I would like someone who wants to experience the world. Cruising is one of my favorite vacations, but I would love to see all of Europe someday as well as Australia, New Zealand and the Mediterranean. I am very frugal in most other areas of my life, but I think travel is worth the splurge. I do not have pictures on here of my pets, my house, my cars, or my watercraft. If I need all of that to impress you, I am perfectly content being single. And when you picture yourself in a group with the caption "guess which one I am"......ummmmmmm, you are the ugly one or you would not hide yourself in a group!! lol .....a joke (thus the sarcasm spoke of in paragraph two comes out).If you have described yourself as non-religious, there is no need to respond. My belief in God and my effort to live a Christian life are a priority. It may sound crazy, but the one that God has intended for me is out there. I may not know him, but I pray for him every day that God will lead, guide and protect him until He sees fit to have us cross paths. If you are looking for a one-night stand or a hook-up, also no need to respond. If you have ever, or think you may ever, have an interest in men please do not respond. I do not and I will not "understand". And yes, I have run into that situation, more than once, on here. It would be nice if your profile reflected a little capitalization and punctuation...not a deal killer, but it would be extra credit. DEAL KILLERS:Smokers....just not for me. I do not participate in inter-racial dating. I have great friends from many cultures....but I only date caucasian men.Facial hair that is not neatly (very neatly) trimmed.Living at home with your parents. ....don't care what the reason....if you are over 25...move out...get half a dozen roommates or two jobs...but it is time to be independent.Only child...not to say I won't date you because of that, but if you were raised to think the world revolves around you, I don't have the energy to make you realize it doesn't. I am an only myself, but I am not selfish or self absorbed and I will not associate with someone who is. Momma's boy....I want a man who LOVES his Mom to pieces...but if you need to call momma every time you sneeze or need her approval to make an investement...or her approval to date me....pass me by. Someone who has to be in a bar every weekend or drinks daily.If you have kids you do not support or have given rights up to.....you wont love mine if you do not take care of your own. I am the mother of two grown sons and they are my greatest accomplishments. My life has always revolved around my sons and helping to mold them into the fine young men that they both have become.
