Hello GentlemenHard to do this without tooting your own horn and I'm not that kind of person. I prefer modesty, but let's give it a go....I'm an outgoing individual who loves to talk and has no trouble socializing. I also like taking it easy and relaxing, enjoying the comforting nature of just being together in a quiet place. I'm very much a doer, in that I believe you shouldn't talk about it, just do it. I am unable to relax if something needs doing and I don't like procrastinating. I believe in giving and enjoy doing things for others and surprising them with the unexpected. I believe giving is most important in a loving relationship, as both partners need to give as much as they can to the other. Doing things for the other person shows consideration, selflessness, and love. I'm a firm believer in teamwork. I can tackle life's challenges, but would prefer doing that together with a co-captain, afterall, we make a stronger team than each alone. Doing things together is fun....anything at all, but I also believe we need some time to ourselves. I'm not attached to anyone at the hip, and time apart makes us appreciate our time together even more. We need to learn about each other, but we can't forget who we are as individuals. We should bring that individuality into the relationship, and I look forward to learning all about you and that's an adventure we'll do together. I am very expressive with my words and actions, showing my affection in public without concern for who may be watching. I certainly don't mean going overboard, but when I am with someone I love, a long kiss is not taboo and very much welcome. Loving touches and feels are a must all the time ! How would my friends describe me? They tell me that I'm loyal, dependable and faithful. Geesh maybe I'm a yellow lab? They also tell me that I'm intelligent, quick witted , funny, compassionate, and usually able to see both sides of the story. I really enjoy great conversations and the subject matter is not important. Preparing a meal together and chatting about whatever is so much fun. And although my father claimed I was vaccinated with a gramophone needle, I do like quieter times as well. Humour is a must. Laughing is jogging for the insides. I do have a good sense of humour, somewhat offbeat perhaps and if you don't like puns and the odd play on words, I'm probably not a great match.If you have ever wondered what a Luddite might look like today see above. Not the most technologically advanced creature you will ever find. I do own a cell phone but it is rarely used. I believe in reading books you don't have to plug in to charge. My address book can be dropped and I don't panic with worry that it might have been broken. Although I'm comfortable being by myself, I'm hoping to find someone with whom I can share my life. There is a saying, "if you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten". Might be time to change it up a bit.Hope you have success on your fishing trip and thanks for stopping by.P.S. As the old country song says, "just pass me by if you're only passing through". Not a one night stand. First date: I really find that a walk around town is a good start, as one gets to talk and walk without so much pressure, and you get to see all the sights and let the conversation go in all sorts of directions. Perhaps a tea or a coffee sitting by the river watching the boats and the geese and ducks is a nice touch too. A first date of a round of golf would be fun.
