Someone who knows and likes who they are...Confident and strong enough to enjoy being with a confident, independent woman. I would like someone who I can spend time with, travel with, dine with, go to the movies or spend an afternoon at the lake: in general to enjoy the joys and sorrows of life with...Someone who is not afraid to show emotion. I want someone who I can cook dinner for or who would be willing to cook dinner for me. I am looking for someone who will be honest, faithful, and is willing to risk the joy and hurt that inevitably comes with a committed relationship. Someone who is interested in knowing the good and bad of me and loves me anyway and is willing to be known in the same way. I have the ability to laugh at myself (and often do) and I want to share that laughter with someone.I love pretty much all music including alternative, country, jazz and classic rock but especially the blues. There is always a song playing in my head and my feet just move with the music.I am reliable and responsible and practical, but I can also be spontaneous. I am no angel, but I think I am a pretty normal, stable woman who dearly loves her family and friends - they are my joy.I am not a quitter - I keep trying until I get it right. Lessons learned make me a better person. I work hard, I have a strong sense of loyalty, a good sense of humour, which is often more apparent after a couple glasses of wine, and a strong faith in God. I like who I am and I think I have a lot to offer to the right person. I have a lot of energy and like to stay active. I have been renovating an older home and I am nearing the end of the project. I get great satisfaction from a job well done.The baggage I carry is light because it is full of love, gratitude and playfulness.     I was on this site once before, however, I never met up with anyone and probably gave up far too quickly. I am semi- I go out with friends, however, I really miss the interaction with someone of the opposite sex. I love to laugh...it's so important to me. At my new job the men make me laugh every day which is terrific!!! I am, also, a great listener and communicator and being a Libran I always stick up for the underdog. I dislike unfairness. I guess one can consider this my strength.Love to read... Scary /thriller movies...sitting on the edge of my seat peaking through my fingers...love it!! Music would be soft rock / easy listening. Food definitely Italian or Chinese and I do love a good steak supper, on occasion, (even though I mostly eat chicken and fish). I'm pretty easy to please...definitely not high maintenance.You must be fairly tall as I am 5'8". You should, also, be able to read and write the English language...I've placed this here because there seems to be a lot of people who are unable to do this. If this sounds shallow, I am sorry, however, this is what I am use to. I would like somebody who is my equal in all aspects...I don't think that is too much to ask for...or is it? You should, also, love animals especially dogs and horses. One last thing...a good communicator and listener is a must!!! Hopefully I haven't scared you off. I would like to meet someone in a public space (can't be too careful) and hopefully, it would be somewhere that is fairly quiet so that we would be able to talk. This way we would both find out if there is an chemistry between us or if it's a complete loss.
