I'm nerd-adjacent in most of my interests. I love all kinds of music and it is around me at all times. Movies are a real weakness for me, art keeps me sane, reading feeds the soul, and writing is my outlet. I'm never too far from any or all of those things.I enjoy hanging out and being social. I have recently decided to tackle crepes as well, so we will see if that ends well.I am not a hardcore "outdoorsy" person but I do enjoy outdoor activities. I love going for walks, grabbing an ice cream downtown and enjoying someone's company. Weekend BBQs with friends or just hanging out by a fire and relaxing are all usually good times.I also love to travel and have recently gotten a taste for it again. There are so many places I still want to see and experience. I'd be hard pressed to turn down a simple road trip with the right person.I'm generally pretty open to any and all questions so, anything else you'd like to know, feel free to ask. I guess a general list would include honesty, compassion, a sense of humour, and a sense of FUN!!! Life is too short, and after we take care of all the mature “adult stuff” like saving for the future and making smart choices, we should be concentrating on having fun with life!! You only get one shot at it, and there is no reset button! Of course, fun comes in many, many different forms – I'm looking forward to experiencing what YOU think is fun!!Random facts:- If you are an Oilers or Eskimos fan that is cool – we can be that cute couple they show on TV that are wearing opposing team jerseys, and maybe get on the “Kiss Cam” to boot!- When I say I love to cook, that means more than just making sure the pot of Kraft Dinner doesn’t boil over (although I make an excellent bowl of KD too!!) I actually do enjoy cooking real meals, and would love to take cooking classes to expand the repertoire- I enjoy red wine... usually chilled – the fact that I like it chilled should reassure you that I'm not a wine snob - just a guy who likes cold red wine! - I am mostly goal oriented with sprinkles of procrastination for good balance (and yes, ocassionally the top falls off the shaker!)- Music is a very important part of my life - I usually have music playing most of the day, and I love seeing music live - whether it's in Commonwealth Stadium or in a small out of the way pub. Mostly '80 stuff for me, but as long as it has a good beat and it's catchy, i'll probably listen to it.- I am working very, very hard to be an “average” guy and shed those few extra pounds. So I guess it’s important to me to meet somebody who is either there or also seriously working hard to get there. If you are active and work out then that is just sugar free icing on a fat free muffin – we can keep each other motivated!I’m trying to keep this short enough to be readable, but long enough to give you a sense of who I am – it’s a very fine line. There is so much more to me than is written here, so if you are interested in potentially getting to know a genuinely thoughtful and nice guy, then let’s exchange a few mails and see if there is enough to warrant a meeting! I do prefer to meet sooner rather than later (in a well lit, public place with lots of escape routes!), as endless ***’t my thing.
