Well Hello... As you may have gathered from the headline, I'm more likely to use self-deprecating humour than make comparisons of myself with sliced bread. Like most of the people on here, selling yourself is not one of my skills. But I'll have a go.I'd like to think (others may disagree!) that I'm intelligent, honest, reliable, reasonably well travelled and articulate. I work hard and hold down a good job. I have a well honed and quick sense of humour, which has on the odd occasion landed me in trouble, although very rarely I hasten to add. No death threats received yet, anyway! Outside of work, there's plenty of things I love to do, from spending time with my kids, mountain biking through the forest, to throwing myself down snowy peaks on 1 plank or 2. So I guess I should grit my teeth and talk a bit about me. Yikes.I live in the sticks, enjoy most sports and the outdoors in general - walking, biking - anything really. I like adventurous too - skydive, bungee jump, etc are all on the bucket list, which is getting longer by the day. Also love travelling and am equally happy either camping, backpacking or living it up in a posh hotel - as long as it's somewhere with a view and a sunset! As much as I love all that I do have an inner couch potato, which occasionally rears its comforting head. I like most music too and enjoy gigs/festivals, but haven't been to enough recently. Love hearing new music, so I listen to Radio 1 whenever I can.My personality then...think I'll stick with what others say about me. So I'm apparently a glass-half- Also very laid back, very occasionally shy, don't take myself too seriously and have a loyal, caring side too.Having said all that, I'll try anything once - more if I like it! (or so I've been told :-)). I like to keep fit by doing boxing training on a regular basis, which contributes to me being very intelligent aswell as having a healthy body too! I'm an exciting and adventurous guy to be around with a great sense of humour too! I've travelled all over the world as I used to be a pro-sportsman.***. I've lived an interesting and exciting life with lots of varying experiences along the way, and believe me, I've got a lot of exciting and interesting stories to tell! I have a unique outlook on life due to the lifestyle I've lead, and you'd never ever get bored in my company! I currently work as a counsellor and support worker within the mental health sector, and I have a natural knack at being able to help others who either have a low self-esteem, a lack of confidence, people who feel that there's no way out for them, to relationship counselling, bereavement counselling, to people having psychological and emotional problems etc, I pretty much cover everything really, and because I've got so much life experience under my belt, it helps me to genuinely be able to identify with various problems and situations that certain people may be suffering, and I'm very very good at it! I also love listening to music, especially rock music, as I used to be the lead singer in a band which was a tribute band to "The Doors", and to this day I still occasionally write my own songs! After all this I'm saying please don't think I'm some sort of big-head etc, because I'm definitely not, I'm nothing of the sort, I'm just a down to earth, easy going guy who's easy to talk to etc. It just so happens that I've managed to be able to do a lot in life and experience many different things along the way that I'm genuinely thankful for. It doesn't mean that I'm any different to anyone else or anything like that, If anything, It's because of the experiences I've had, that has made me who I am today. I'm looking for a woman who's very attractive, someone who's intelligent, open minded, down to earth, and someone with a great sense of humour too! Someone who's got an air of class about them etc :-) So is the perfect woman out there? Contact me if you like what you've read!
