I don't keep up With the joneses, , in fact I do the opposite from what they do. I was born to stand out not fit in!!! I don't care about the car you drive, or how much money you make. i would like to find someone who is in touch with Mother Nature, is genuine, has a kind heart and who who likes to get their groove on to techno house at Burning Man type festivals every once in a while.( yes I still have it in me) :) so a little wild at heart is ok with me ....Peace If you obey all the rules, you'll miss all the fun. Wow... This is not easy! Like my headline says, I'm looking for my best friend. Life can get lonely and I want to share it with someone. I'm pretty easy going, I hate confrontation. I'm a nut! ha ha. I have old fashioned values while living a modern lifestyle. I'm independent and have been for awhile, I work full time, own my own home and car and take care of my bills, but I love a man stepping up and being a man. Take me dancing and you found a weakness of mine, skiing is right around the corner (I already have a pass, just need someone to go with) and who doesn't love snuggling up on the couch with a movie and some kettle corn popcorn with peanut M & Ms poured right in. Love going with my 86 yr old neighbor to play poker. I love going to Thrift Shops (yep..with $20 in my pocket) and see what I can find. I do try to have fun no matter what I'm doing really.I think some of you are taking this "Online" dating too seriously. Do any of you actually want to go outside and have an "In Person" Date. ha ha.. I'm pretty set on messaging, texting, meeting. If all I wanted was to chat on the computer or texting, I'd join the prisoner pen-pal program. Let's meet. I'm an adventurous person...willing to try anything once...more often if I really like it! Tried riverboarding for the first time about seven years ago, and have been hooked on it ever since...just wish the season was longer! I enjoy hiking, running, just about anything outdoors. Even better if I can do something outdoors and bring my dogs along. I'm out with my dogs almost every day.I'm a social person who enjoys spending time with friends whether it is out for dinner, movies, live theater, live music, etc. I'm up for just about any type of music...small venues are preferred, but I can also get into some larger Red Rocks shows. As much as I enjoy going out, I can also appreciate a good night in. A night in cooking for friends and watching a movie or playing games is also enjoyable....just need to have the balance between the nights on the town and the time at home. I really enjoy trying new ethnic recipes at home. On snowy cold days I like to wrap up in a blanket and read a good book or watch something good on Netflix.My friends will tell you that I speak my mind, and give an honest opinion when asked for it...I'm not the person to ask "does this outfit looks good" if you really don't want to hear the answer!..certified as a first responder among other things....trained to carry you out of a burning building if needed...but let's hope it doesn't come to that! I enjoy my independence and like having my time alone (a good long hike in the morning before anyone else is at the park is always great), but also understand that life is meant to be shared.I'm looking for someone that has the same adventurous spirit as me...I don't expect us to have everything in common, just enough to enjoy each other's company and carry on a good conversation. Someplace low pressure...hike, walk, dog park, coffe/tea outside somewhere.
