I prefer activity apposed to sitting at home on the couch, but, I am not apposed to weekend marthons in my pajamas and watching a bunch of great movies. I do have family close by and we visit often. Family is important to me and I personally couldn't live with out mine. I have two wonderful baby nieces, a sister and a of course my mom and we all keep eachother on our toes daily. I have been with my employer for 8 years and all I cant say is, I dont have many days where I wake up and don't want to go in. I am lucky to love my job.Love...Why do people make this so hard? Just be honest in what you are looking for and you will find it. Am I totally weird in thinking that it seems old fashioned to meet a person with a few morals left these days? I don't mean a holy roller, Why is everyone in such a big hurry about it all? It’s not a race. Slow down and get to know a person, maybe enjoy the moment a little. You don't know me and aren't going to in one week.. lol.. I might be the tiniest bit old fashioned, but I do have some diginity and I am not looking for an overnight love connection that fizzles out as fast as it started. I would love to meet someone who takes pride in themselves and values themself as a person who is worth something special and not willing to just take anyone for sake of "just having someone". It's not easy meeting someone who fits “your everything”, but you have to unfortunately kiss a thousand frogs as they say, until you find that one. They are out there, I promise you. I don't have any animals but I plan to in the future so my potential someone should also have a fondness and respect toward animals. I love the outdoors and being in fresh air, I don't care if it's tootleing around town, garage saleing or shopping, I like just being out an about especially if it's nice outside. I'm an adventurous person...willing to try anything once...more often if I really like it! Tried riverboarding for the first time about seven years ago, and have been hooked on it ever since...just wish the season was longer! I enjoy hiking, running, just about anything outdoors. On snowy cold days I like to wrap up in a blanket and read a good book or watch something good on Netflix.My friends will tell you that I speak my mind, and give an honest opinion when asked for it...I'm not the person to ask "does this outfit looks good" if you really don't want to hear the answer!..certified as a first responder among other things....trained to carry you out of a burning building if needed...but let's hope it doesn't come to that! I enjoy my independence and like having my time alone (a good long hike in the morning before anyone else is at the park is always great), but also understand that life is meant to be shared.I'm looking for someone that has the same adventurous spirit as me...I don't expect us to have everything in common, just enough to enjoy each other's company and carry on a good conversation. Someplace low pressure...hike, walk, dog park, coffe/tea outside somewhere.

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. Getting to know someone by reading a few choice words can never compare to meeting in person but here we are. So, here we go. *smiles*After marriage, children, divorce, running a business and raising teenagers I have learned many things about myself. Mostly, that I am tenacious and that I don’t give in easily. I have learned that keeping balance in all areas of my life is a great goal and one that I strive for on a daily basis. I have also learned that it is ok if I let some things go. Sometimes there is serenity in not having constant balance.My absolute favorite thing to do is anything in the mountains. It does not matter if I am hiking, walking, exploring or just sitting with my journal. I feel such a connection to that which is greater than me when I am surrounded by trees and mountain air. Taking time to quiet my mind allows me to hear the wisdom from within.I love music. Especially live music and small venues. My taste is pretty diverse and I will listen to just about anything from Classical and Jazz to Rock. My main musical focus however is rock, and you will find me listening to anything from 70’s to current metal. (My daughters also love music and often we can be found singing loudly together.)I believe that your health is your only true wealth and I have a daily practice of yoga, meditation and exercise. I do my best to stay away from junk food (unless its chocolate and then I give in 100% of the time) and almost never eat fast food.I am a believer in the law of attraction and that we get to choose how our days go. I can’t remember that last time I had a bad day. Even when I receive news that some would see as negative, I do my best to make the adjustments that need to be made and move forward. (and yes, sometimes that is a struggle, but that is all the reason I need to fight on) In doing this, I grow and learn and the experience becomes positive. I love being present at the beginning of the day and witnessing the world wake. The second most magical time is the sunset. A beautiful end to a day fulfilled. I love moongazing and stargazing. I have a thousands of pictures of the sky and various hikes. I belong to a drum circle, am interning for my level 2 in Reiki,. I am researching and planning what steps I need to take to become certified as a life coach. I have a great life, and I have no complaints. Finding a partner would just be an added bonus. But if all I find here is friends, then my life will still be enriched.So,... here is a glimmer of insight of who I am.
