Yes it's lengthy yet worth the time to read....About me, I needed a time out from dating to focus on myself and figure out what it is what I want out of life. My child is older and is out of home. This now gives me some free time to explore. I do not look or act or dress my age so don't be misled thinking I'm a stuffy old broad. I like to go out, have fun, sit in pubs with friends and eat wings and such. You may find me at the bar with the girls once a year. However, I do know how to 2 step no matter what state of mind I'm in. To keep myself sane, feel womanly, and perhaps escape from reality I do enjoy sitting at home reading a book. Not that I've spent time in prison but I enjoy being in the kitchen and like to take on D.I.Y. projects that are perhaps lost amongst the younger generation. I even own a tool box with a variety tools and know how to use them. Some may be pink but they do the job. I do like quiet times at home but more so enjoy feeling like I'm a part of the human race and attend festivals, car shows, concerts, dining out or taking a walk with no destination in mind. When I feel like I'm about to lose my marbles, I like to take a road trip across the border or Winnipeg and do a bit of shopping. I grew up on a small farm and have been a city girl for many years and do find myself missing the peace and quiet that I grew up with. Being in the outdoors out of town is where I feel I'm complete. It's been awhile since I've been camping, fishing or boating. I have been hauling gear around for years waiting to use but have not found that person to share those experiences with. I have spent a lot of time out at the lake as a kid and still try to with my family. I'm spontaneous and out going. According to others I'm funny, witty, sarasctic and inappropriate for my pervertedness.What I'm looking for is a man who knows what he wants in a woman, knows how to respect a woman, is honest and independent. He doesn't have to have all of the same interests as me as there will be times we'll get sick of each other and will need a time out. If you are still hung up on your ex and ones you have dated, you are not ready to move forward. I would rather you not waste my time and have you play head games with me. I have this type in my mind that we should kind of look the same age or have the same sense of style. If I look 10 years younger and you look 10 years older it would look like father and daughter. Unlike most other woman I'm not into the cowboy/farmer look. Regarless where you bought your Wranglers or how tight they are they still do not float my boat. I am an adult that works and has a life as should you. Patience goes along way. The possibilities are endless. However, not a fan of going to a movie. You can't have a conversation and there's that awkward moment of touching hands while reaching in the popcorn.

I recently read a message from the App : Text From Last Night and the girl said "I'm on a date and the guy just said "balls deep" three times in ten minutes - thank you plenty of fish". I find that funny. Having said that I am hoping to meet a guy that can avoid phrases like that at least on date number one. We all need to eliminate all expectations and laundry lists of qualities you desire in someone else, and just be open and allow things to happen. Don't wait for the perfect moment, take a moment and make it perfect. Also - guys - post pictures. I did, there is no reason you can't follow the rules and do the same. Alcohol - just saying - if you do not engage in the consumption of some alcohol, we will probably not click. Just being honest - no good conversation began over a salad. Just my thoughts on flaky people. We all share the same energy source hence the evolution of karma. You cannot hurt another person or make another person happy without doing the same for yourself. When your actions reflect this principal your life reflects the same.I love to travel. I love new restaurants and wine. Yummo!I like trying new things. Meeting new people and exploring things.
