Well, I've been on this web site for a while... Just saying it would seem that I could find that one special person! No, it hasn't happen for me, WHY I have ask myself several times as I have came onto this site with hope and prayers that god has sent him to me... Hi.What am I looking for? ....my best friend. Ultimately I am looking for long term, however it takes time to get to know someone and I am in no rush to jump into a serious relationship. Have the pics to prove it (just not going to put them online lol.)Enjoy motorcycles (passenger only) so it sure wouldn't hurt if you have a motorcycle lol (just kidding it doesn't really matter and it doesnt have to be a harley either!) lolI am a fairly active person, I horseback ride alot ( have two horses of my own) take a belly dance class once a week to have some fun and stay active. Also enjoy a quiet night at home. Don't watch alot of tv, no couch potato here, although I do enjoy a good movie, especially cuddled up with the right person. Like all kinds of music, mostly country, like christian, the blues and 50's, can't stand rap. Love to dance. Would like to take ballroom dance lessons,,,,,,just need a partner!Forgiveness, honesty, trust, romance/affection, integrity, and a SENSE OF HUMOR,are important to me in a relationship. I have zero tolerance for liars. Just tell the truth because sooner or later it will come out ("Truth and time walk hand in hand") and once trust is broken there is nothing left to build a relationship on. Whatever that relationship turns out to be friendship or something more.I am a Christian and I do attend church. I believe and have a faith in God. I'm NOT religious. My faith is a personal choice and I would never preach to or push my beliefs on anyone. However I do have a set of values that I live by and am not willing to compromise them, which can be quite difficult at times in this day and age. Most people tend to judge Christianity (possibly because of a bad experience in the past) before they actually take the time to find out what it really means to be a Christian.( I was one of those people). Anyone can "say" they are a Chrisitan. My pastor once explained it like this. Going to church doesn't make you a Christian anymore than standing in your garage makes you a car"Not really a big a fan of on line dating, I would much rather meet someone the old fashioned way,,,,,in person.... There is so much more to a person than what can be typed in a few paragraphs and some pictures.... and some people are very quick to judge others without getting to know them first.....but this seems to be the way to meet people nowdays. Not really comfortable contacting men on line so chances of me contacting you first are slim. Sorry but that is the way I was raised. Single, reasonably stable (financially and emotionally***ish female looking for a single, reasonably stable 50-ish male who has figured out that life is a time limited offer and best celebrated as a shared experience. I know I've stated "dating but nothing serious" but that is subject to change. The 3 big "C" words that are important: conversation, communication, companionship, are some of the things I miss."C" words that I can live without: cats, cigarettes, cold weather, cutting the grass, and most country music.Seriously, why grass? It's a weed magnet!!!! If it rains, you have to cut it more often and if it doesn't rain, it turns brown and dies - there has to be a better solution.I'm passionate about a lot of things, but fanatical about nothing, except maybe grass. Oh, OK, I HATE polyester sheets and I don't believe in margarine. I take reasonable care of myself, I eat my version of healthy but don't believe in denying myself what I enjoy. I've been called a purist by someone who didn't know that I prefer milk chocolate over dark chocolate. Burgers are better without cheese, but I won't hold that against you.I try to watch the local news every day, just because it feels right. So does the whole "reduce, reuse, recycle" thing.I love music. I sometimes think in lyrics and a good song on the radio alarm can set my mood for the day. So many of the pictures of men on this site have them wearing dark glasses and baseball caps, I thought I'd try it too, well except for the baseball cap. The picture of me in the white t-Did I mention that: a sense of humour is a must? that spelling and grammar still count? manners are important? that I don't like grass?;X" word, but I did see him live a few times) and all the other words that needed to be, was I incorrectly "auto-corrected?" Sigh.** In theory, meeting someone on-line is a great concept. I've taken the step to try this again because so many people I've met had found who they were looking for here, yes HERE on POF!!
