Is it just me, or is this the awkward part? Listing off things that you like, qualities that you believe you possess, as well as those you feel that you seek in others... it reminds me of the autobiography I had to write in third grade and then read in front of the class. Lol. That being said, here goes:I have an open mind and value honest conversation. I can be quite serious and partake in engaging subjects, but I'm also no stranger to being goofy and playfully sarcastic. I think that I'm more independent than most women, but I still appreciate genteelness in men :) Most people would describe me as friendly, and polite, and these are also qualities that I greatly admire in men. Confidence can be attractive, but a little bit of humility goes a long way as well. Some of my favorite hobbies include photography (I own a lovely Nikon dslr), creative writing, and reading. I love music (who doesn't? I enjoy going out, but I'm also just as comfortable at home. "Meet me." Oh meetville... why isn't there a "let's chat?" I don't trust an Internet dating website enough to meet someone without getting a feel for their personality first: I'm not looking to meet up with anyone this weekend (perpetually), but I'd love to chat, so drop me a line. I don't need someone to tell me what i should be doing, or how to get what i want. I'm grown, I know those things. I'm looking for someone to laugh at me when I mess up, but appreciate my effort. Hello there! Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. :) As I suspect is often the case, I'm unsure of how to sum myself up in this here box. I joined this site just to see who is out there. If I'm being honest, I'm ready for a change of pace. I'm trying to steer away from the types of guys I've dated in the past. Obviously I must have been looking in the wrong places and perhaps, with luck on my side, I will meet a great guy on here. Who knows? Anything is possible. ;) I'm a college graduate (I took PR), and I'm working on finishing an honours degree in media studies. This semester will be my last. To pay the bills I work as a bartender/waitress. I also do some PR work for my boss and freelance in my spare time. I'm in a band, in which I sing and write songs. I also play some guitar, but I'm not very good (yet!). My favorite show right now is Game of Thrones, my favorite song du jour is "No.13 Baby" by The Pixies, and my favorite movie of late is "Candy." If there is anything else you want to know, feel free to ask! It really depends on the person I'm going on the date with. Something that fits both of our tastes. I'm fairly open as long as it's in a public place--until I've established that you aren't a serial killer that is ;)

I am a very outgoing, friendly, genuine person. I have a bubbly personality and love people. The most important things to me are my family, friends, and my relationship with God. I am finishing up my Masters in Counseling in December and currently am counseling at a local agency and working at a running store full time. I am a very busy person, which is why I am on here. While I have "a few extra pounds" marked in my information. I believe that health is very important. Meaning I used to be huge, like over ***pounds huge. Not so nice I know boys ;) I am on this weight loss journey that is so great. I am in the mid 200's and I am having a blast losing weight and getting involved in sports again, particularly basketball, I love playing the sport, watching it I find a little boring unless I am watching the Badgers or I am literally at a game but watching it on television I find completely boring. Anyways, right now I am having a lot of fun losing all this fat and gaining all this muscle. :) it is awesome and I am really growing a love for the fitness world :) not that I am a fitness natzi but I am an avid believer in it. I do have set backs just like everyone, what can I say, I love my pizza but health has become extremely important to me and it needs to be important to the person I am dating. really?

i love the woods. I would rather be camping than at a five star hotel. I love classic rock, but like most music...uh lets c here... my children are my world.
