In case there are the few serious people on here that actually read profiles, here is goes. Music is very important in my life. No I don't sing and I don't play anything. But there is something about the rhythm and lyrics to a great song that just moves you. Music is my way to calm down and just relax. Going to shows is one of my favorite activities. I hope to someday be able to move there or at least have a vacation place so I can go as often as I like. I'm a country girl at heart.I also believe in honesty. So if your looking for someone to sugar coat things and tell you what you want to hear, that's just not who I am. I'm looking for a relationship with someone that has time to spend with me. I know that seeing each other everyday is too much. Everyone needs their space and time wit friends. However, I am that person that believes that even if you don't see each other staying in contact is still important. Whether it be a text saying good morning or good night or just I'm thinking about you. Letting a person know that even when you aren't together you still are thinking about them is important. I do happen to be extremely opinionated. I've learned that having an opinion is healthy as long as you can back up your feelings for that decision. I do believe there are two sides to every situation you just have to make time to hear them. I'm a great friend. I know that sounds strange, but I think the key to being a good friend is just being there. Being available when they need someone to talk to, being a good listener, calling up and letting them know that your thinking about them or just want to spend some time together. Friends aren't there to keep you from being bored they are there to be appreciated and make you a better person. Your significant other should one day be your best friend. For the last 4 years I've done graphic design work for a local magazine "OUR TOWN" I've worked from home for almost 7 years now. It was nice in the beginning to be able to relax and not feel so rushed with everything. Working in your pj's was great too, however it's greatness slowly wears thin. It gets rather lonely. It's very hard to meet new for people and be able to make new friends.I'd like to add that if your the type of person that wants to spend your weekends bar hopping or at a club or going into the city, then you aren't really for me. I'm really not interested in doing those kind of things. I'm more interested in finding someone that would like to spend his weekends outside. Whether it be for taking a walk, fishing, relaxing out in the water, chilling on a boat or around a fire with some friends talking, going to a car show or a game or even a round of mini golf. Stuff like that. I'm looking for the down to earth guy not the pretty boy. Also, if your super close to his family and friends and have and are not willing to ever consider moving out of the area in the future then you aren't right for me, either. This area is not really somewhere I enjoy living and I would like to have an option to leave in the future. So just keep that in mind before you message me. The best way to describe me is a jack of all trades and a master of some. I'm always looking to learn something new, especially from the people I enjoy spending time with. I sometimes am a walking contradiction. I am laid back, but can't sit still. I like being out and about, but one of my favorite places to be is hanging out in my house. I am very outgoing and people like me (for the most part), but I can be shy in situations. Sometimes I wonder if I have ADD. My goal is always to learn something new. I have some hobbies such as soapmaking, sewing, woodworking, which have added to other things I have tried such as beer making, quilting, home improvement, drawing, hiking, golfing, etc. Have I mentioned I have a hard time sitting still? I am very easy going and usually have a easy time just going with the flow. I try to be low drama and hate drama...I think life has enough drama built in that I don't understand why people add to that.I like to stay active and have gotten into running. I'm not very fast, but I do it and it clears my head! Lately I've been slacking and need to get back into it. Definitely enjoy mud runs more than straight up 5ks! On the weekends, I try to go kayaking and it would be nice to find someone who likes kayaking also! Things I like to do (in no particular order): reading, remodeling my house (I don't mind getting my hands dirty and love tearing things up and putting them back together), watching movies, lifting weights, yoga, rollerblading, watching live music, listening to music, traveling (which I haven't been able to do much of lately), playing with my dogs, hanging out with my family and friends, exploring, learning, laughing...you get the picture! I will try almost anything once!I guess you would say I'm entertaining. At work, everyone says that I keep everything fun and interesting. I try to not take myself or life too serious, but I can be serious when necessary. Life's too short to be miserable and stressed over every little thing. So I just try to enjoy the ride!
