Also, I was putting more effort into responding to messages that just said, "hi" than what the original poster did, so those are out too. I'll still respond to all messages, but be creative, funny, be different. That is my challenge to you. The worst that can happen is someone doesn't get back what they wanted, but I do initiate my conversations with something more than hi. Spontaneity is key. I love spontaneous gestures, and I am not afraid to make a decision for something to do, or not too. I am not overly picky, but please do not suggest a movie for a first date, if we do something before, that's great. Also, I'm not the kind of person that expects you to foot the bill. This dating thing can get expensive. If you insist, maybe I'll let you, but I can pay for myself too.
