I don't NEED a man, but would like to find one to share my life with. As harsh as this may sound, I will not settle. I always say, I'd rather be single and lonely than married and miserable. I just recently bought my own house. It is so nice to have a place to call HOME, rather than just a dumping ground for my stuff. My apartment was a place to shower, eat, and lay my head at night. Now I can finally take pride in my home, and love to decorate to make it a cozy and inviting place to relax and entertain friends.I absolutely love my job! Not too many people can say that, so I feel pretty lucky! I take my job seriously and try to provide my students with experiences that I never had growing up. Some kids these days lack positive role models. Kindness is key. I tell them, "You may be sitting next to your worst enemy, but in this classroom, we are ALL friends!" And not to boast, but my students love me. Being a teacher is very rewarding....and FUN! I get to play and work simultaneously! We are a package deal. They are my babies, so you must be a dog lover! :)I have a handful of close girlfriends that I adore. We like to hang out and watch movies, go dancing, craft, exercise, lay by the pool and go shopping (of course!).I like a lot of music. Some music I like because I can relate, some music makes me want to dance, some songs are classics, and some you don't know why, but you just like them! I am always open to listening to new artists.......random one-hit wonders....hahha!I am not perfect, but nobody is. I have my flaws, and am willing to compromise. I am easy-going for the most part and laid back. I definitely want children. I'm not saying that it has to be in the near future, but if you don't like or want children, please don't waste your time. I am looking for a long-term relationship and know I will make a great mother and wife when the time is right and the right person comes into my life.My ideal guy would be HONEST, masculine, intelligent, stable, hard-working, and family oriented. I need a man, not a boy. This may seem like a strange comment, but if you are gay, bi or confused, please don't respond. I have been down that road and don't wish to go back. I need a man that knows what he wants. I need a man who will enjoy being taken care of, and will reciprocate, and take care of me, as well. Hello! :D Its been a minute since I have attempted to actually date, so here it goes.. I am an educated professional who knows what she wants and where she is going. I have a beautiful, almost 5 year old daughter who is the love of my life. She is my reason why. We spend all of our free time on road trips, at the lake, camping, bbqing, hiking, playing in the backyard, doing 10Ks and 1Ks, swimming and gymnastics for my little one, and softball for me! I like to get dressed up, catch a musical and a fancy dinner in downtown or a night out at the local piano bar. I don't mind your random hole in the wall dive bars either. When I can get away, wine tasting or the beach will earn someone "brownie points". Authentic good food is a must, Sushi and Mexican are my favorite. I rarely watch TV or movies..If you do catch me watching TV, its Greys Anatomy and the Voice sucked me in. Movie- I love the ones where the "girl gets the guy" fairytale type of movies 3. I am in love with music, it is food for my soul. Country music is my all time favorite... along with someone who can rock a good ol' pair of country boots! Its sexy if you ask me! ;) I like to go to concerts as well. Lady Antebellum and Kenny Chesney kick *** in concert!) I love to travel when I can. My daughter loves it too!.lol.- I can be sassy, silly, quirky, outgoing, and at the same time can be serious when I need to. I always carry myself like a lady. This is me! I want more kids and ultimately a wonderful partner in crime to share it with. I have big dreams and big big things to come. If I sound like a match, and your a roadtripper, outdoor loving, country kinda person, who is interested in going big.. you are in the right place. ;) Surprise me! I am a hopeless romantic..its the little things that count. I am a little old fashioned so doors, roses, and post-it notes make me smile. The perfect 1st date would include the beach, winery, or a musical. Even something fun like line-dancing or miniature golf. Spend some time talking and getting to know each other. Good conversation over a glass of wine or a drink (A good ol' beer works too!) If all goes well we will be mingling and dancing the night away, taking a walk on the beach, or I will be kicking your butt in miniature golf.. or we can tally points at the batting cages! When the night is over it will probably be clear where to go from there... I don't believe in games or the "3-day rule". If I am interested I will text or call.. and if you are, I expect the same. Don't be offended if you get a kiss on the cheek at the end of the night, I'm a lady remember. :D
