I know many guys who say they are just looking for a girl who knows who she is and what she wants. Well I guess we'll find out how true that really is.What I want:1. A Christian-- non-negotiable. And because I want to see your face more often than every other fortnight. Who I am in a few words: passionate, creative, a little random, fun, and incredibly protective of those I love. Who I am in quite a bit more than a few words:I am a writer, and it is more than a profession to me. It is a calling, a way of life, an essential part of who I am. And that passion, that creative drive, applies in all of my relationships too. I absolutely love a bit of ridiculousness. But I am also uniquely grounded, not a flighty bird, though I do consider myself a bit of a free spirit. I am the black sheep in a family of accountants, engineers, and medical professionals. Because of this I know the importance of balance. And I look for this in a relationship too.I have a natural talent for domestic type stuff. I can sew, cook, bake, and I make an excelent host at parties. I can clean too, but I don't consider it a talent. I know it's not exactly en par for a woman of the 21st century, but I don't care. I just like doing that sort of stuff. I absolutely love animals, they will always be in my life.; so I'm also a bit of an anglophile. I like to dance, though I'm not super good at it, I really don't care. I am a Christian, but please don't put me into that box you are thinking. I am not politically affiliated, but I can be opinionated. I simply believe in Jesus. All the other crap that usually comes with the word Christian should be dismissed. I do, however, only date Christians. It's a common interest thing. I don't give a crap about denomination though. It's not about church or religion, it's about God. I am a little bit, let's say traditional, when it comes to dating. I expect a guy to take the lead role. Not all the time, but certainly in the beginning. This is mostly because I tend to be a bit of an all or nothing kind of person. So when I take charge of something I can have a hard time letting go. And I really like being in charge, so I force myself to be a follower more often than feels natural. But it helps facilitate relationships and that is the more worthy goal. I am an extrovert. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I put everything I have into relationships of all types. Girls are weirdly attracted to me. I'm not gay at all, but girls hit on me a lot. I've learned to just take the compliment and move on. I have no secrets, though I can respect and keep those of other people. I believe in second chances, but not third or fourth. Essentially, I am just a woman who loves fun, doesn't take herself too seriously, and would like the chance to get to know you. I am not a complicated date. All I need is a chance to talk one on one with you about something more than the weather. I like fancy, I like casual. It doesn't matter what we do, as long as there is a connection. This is not a test, or a game. As long as there is a chance to talk to you, I am golden. However, I will say romance is not lost on me, not by a long shot.

I work the night shift, so I tend to keep odd hours. I am working on getting in shape and would like someone who can help me stay motivated by keeping it fun. I consider myself to be a casual gamer, but I don't mind people who like video games more than I do. I'm pretty shy, but if you get me out of my shell I can be pretty fun and interesting. A good first date for me would consist of either going to a hockey game, going to a bar for karaoke or pool, or just ordering a pizza and watching movies. I'm not a big fan of just sitting in a bar unless there is something interesting going on such as a band playing, karaoke, or games to play. I prefer dates to be laid back and casual, no fancy restaurants or anything like that.
