I'm agile, I'm versatile and I rock a fantastically genuine smile. I keep active physically, intellectually and creatively. I love to be fascinated... In the summer, I love the outdoors; in the winter, I love the three feet directly adjacent to the heater. :) A typical friday night would include chilling out with a friend over drinks, enjoying a quiet dinner out, or relaxing at home with a book or a movie.That all being said, there is something you should know before you move on... I was diagnosed with cancer in Feb ***and I'll be fighting this disease for as long as it takes... I'm currently in chemotherapy. I'm at the doctor about twice a month, learning to knit, watching movies and joking around with the other (much older) patients.This has all so completely changed my life but it's also inspired me in so many unspeakable ways.. I've only marginally slowed down this locomotive. My logic is if my body is conspiring against me, might as well use my mind to overcome and stay positive. In a lot of ways cancer has made me a better person and its definitely brought a lot of wisdom and love into my life, and for that I am thankful..So there you have it.. I do my best to maintain a policy of full-disclosure and this is kind of an important detail to consider... If you can't handle this, it's ok.. Feelings intact.However... if you're still reading, maybe there's something more to discover.. Right?I happen to think I'm a pretty rare and amazing individual...

I work in a high volume hospital setting all day ...soooo...Last thing I want is to be on the phone all day... just a Heads up! So, here I am....Interviews always make me a bit nervous, especially the "Tell me about yourself" statement that they always start out with. I enjoy the simple things in life, but I love to throw a little adventure in to mix it up. I went skydiving, which was pretty intense.....45 seconds of free fall and I thought I was dying! I contemplated whether or not I should have worn depends, but I made it to the ground completely dry:-)Family events are a must because I have two kids that really mean the world to me. I do like to get out once a year to enjoy adult conversation and drinks. Ok ok, more than that, but I value the time I spend with my kids. It is not my scene. Now, I do like live music, so if I happen to be out and there is music, you might catch a glimpse of me nodding my head and tapping my toes. (Yes, guys, I have all 10!)I have an education and am pursuing my masters! It keeps me busy on occasion, but in the end life will be a little easier.One day, I hope to build my own house. I think it would be an adventure and I sure wouldn't build those annoying corner cabinets in the kitchen. Don't worry, I have plenty of ideas up my sleeve:-)Well, I am not sure of the type of guy I am searching for, but I know he is out there somewhere! It's always fun to do new things with new people!
