Well, here it goes...I am a very hardworking woman that don't like bs and drama..we can all live without it. I enjoy expieriencing new aspects of life. I love the outdoors...i like to hike and camp and just going on outtings to the mountains. I love to cook and bake..when i have time...my favorite things to cook are breakfast foods and speghetti. I love to write poetry..I have many poems that have been put into a book and I am working on getting it published. I love to listen to music..mostly country music but I love pretty much anything as long as its not heavy metal...I do like to listen to calm relaxing music on those long stressful days...we all have them.. I have a special interest in the deaf.. My dad is deaf and I know sign language very well..I grew up with it. I am a very proud single mother of a 10 yr old son and three daughters who are 9, 7 and 4. They are my life and everything I do and am is for them. I am a very compromising woman but not afraid to tell it how it is. I believe in being honest and trustworthy. I have many goals in life...I strive to be leader and become someone important..I have been shy most of my life but I found my backbone and learned how to use it. I plan to finish my degree in college and move up the ladder in life to real success. My motto is , " Anything worth doing is worth working hard at." Well thats me! I prefer my first date to be different than the norm , fun and exciting...The same ole' dinner and a movie gets boring..I understand tho..sometimes it is all there is to do but I like to be one to think outside the box...Not everything has to cost a million dollars..just use your imagination..I prefer for the man to pay for the first date as it shows me that they respect their woman..however like I said I am a compromising woman and don't mind paying the cost as long as they are willing to make it a shared deal not all on one person.

I can imagine I'm not the only person on here perplexed as to what to write in this space. I suppose let's start with the basics and see where my mind flows- I started my military career in the Intel world, then switched to medical. I am slowly but surely chipping away at a degree in Forensic Science (but no, I do not watch CSI, NCIS, etc). I have a mutt, so if you have pet allergies or dislike dogs you might as well stop reading here. She's not going anywhere for anyone. Having been born and partially raised in the Bay Area, my dad made sure I became a Giants/Niner's fan. Although I will watch most sports, football will always be my favorite. I'm not saying I can ramble of stats like a bookie, but it's the one sport I like to get out and play, love going to the games and I'm currently ***on my fantasy team. Off the top of my head I can't really think of any hobbies I have, but I do know I enjoy kayaking and biking. They're just not something I do on a regular basis. I try to travel when I can. My music tastes vary, but if I had to list a few bands that I am almost always in the mood to listen to, they would be: Queens of the Stone Age, Social Distortion, The Postal Service, Weezer, Misfits and Johnny Cash. Mostly rock and country, but there are the few pop and r&b songs that I like as well. Before I write everything about me, I think I'll stop here....leave some room for possible future conversations. First dates are awkward, in my opinion. Having gone on a blind date before, I can only imagine online dating is just a tad less nerve wracking. I'd much prefer something simpler such a meeting for coffee, or jamba juice. Just need somewhere to meet up and be able to talk, to see if the online persona matches the real life persona and to see if there is potential for anything. If the answer is no, then you don't have to wait around for the end of a meal, but if the answer is yes, then you don't have to worry about the waitress rushing you out of her table to sit the next customer.
