Well here it goes ....I'm 26 and have been single for over a year now and feel like i'm ready to try again.i'm interested in meeting someone who takes life seriously, so please no games. Hello! I don't know if I am ready to dive into a relationship right away, but I am certainly willing to chat, make friends, and see where it goes from there. *** Also: Not to sound like a douche, but please send me something more substantial than "Hey, how are ya?" because I can't really do anything with that. Give me something to work with. :3 Aw, I do sound like a douche. Like anyone I can be quiet and shy depending on who I am with, or I can be boisterous and outgoing. People have said I am socially awkward. Yes.I am the type to prefer a night at home watching movies rather than going to a loud club. Speaking of movies, I like to watch horror or psychological thrillers even though it usually means I have to sleep with a nightlight. Why do I do this to myself? Sometimes I'm a big baby, but my courage will surprise you, too. I'm a sweetheart really and I care a lot for the people in my life, but I might come across as cynical and sarcastic. I have a degree in psychology and another in biology, but I didn't really do anything with them and now I'm a veterinary technician! But I'm happy with this. I like meaningful and intelligent conversation, talking about things that matter. Like kittycats or stickers.Books: I feel like I've been in school forever and haven't had time to read. I like Neil Gaiman, with Neverwhere being one of my favorite books. It very much tastes like biting into a wet piece of clay. I also enjoy graphic novels such as The Watchmen (why did the movie have to be so bad?), The Walking Dead, and Sandman.Movies: V for Vendetta, Children of Men, Fight Club, ***Hours, Princess Mononoke, and My Neighbour Totoro. Mostly I just like having the TV on for company.Music: Not a huge music fan.I really like listening to the old episodes of the talk radioshow 'Loveline' with Adam Carolla.Food: My favorite food would probably have to be birthday cake! *** Coffee/dinner with chitchat? Dates make me nervous!

I love to read - I have an ever-growing collection, and I love the feel and smell of books as much as I love shoes. Yes, I know that was a bit nerd-erific!My taste in music is pretty broad - it spans many genres. It's what wakes me up in the morning, keeps me going all day, and winds me down or gears me up at night! I am passionate about animals and their happiness and well-being, and I adore my boys. I'm simple yet complicated. I have a wide variety of interests which allow me to adapt to almost any situation. I'm looking for someone to create new memories with. Basic enough, right? I would consider my "type" to be cultured country. I definitely want someone that would saddle up and ride a horse with me once in a while (or at least keep me company at the barn) but that can also put on a suit to attend an event. I would prefer a man that is active because that opens up opportunities to do activities outdoors together; running, hiking, etc.I love animals but I am not the "crazy cat lady" type. I've been involved a lot, up until recently, with animal rescue- which basically involves taking unwanted, abused, or neglected animals from strays or in shelters and placing them in foster homes until they can get vetted and sent to a rescue group. I've been through some humbling experiences and even those that are heartbreaking. Luckily the good tends to outweigh the bad, but hopefully one day there won't be a need for this type of volunteering. Feel free to drop a msg to find out more. It is hard to convey just how awesome I am in a brief description. You will just have to find out for yourself. ;) This so depends on the person. I like to think that I'm not the typical dinner and a movie kind of gal but sometimes that is okay. I think going outside of the box at times is more appreciated- such as maybe relaxing by a campfire, going fishing, or cooking together at home. I'm easy to entertain.
