Okay so this isn't my favorite part....but here it goes. I am a graduate student working on my Masters in Education. I work as a teacher in a severe profound special needs classroom. I have walked away from God to follow my own path, but realized God love me for exactly who I am. Recently i have begun my journey towards health and love going on walks and exercising. My goal within the next yer is to be able to run a 5k.I love college football, Go Dawgs!!! I have tried this before and it didn't go exactly as I had hoped. Maybe this time around will be different. Im okay with dinner and a movie, but going to a sporting event is the most exciting. Going bowling or a round of golf are fun also. Just to be warned I am not to good at either but love the competitive aspects of both.

Welcome! So to start off I'm a born and raised Vancouverite, which is unusual these days it seems. That being said, I'm not a very good Vancouverite since I don't do yoga, I don't wear a toque in the middle of summer, I don't know how to ski or snowboard (though I'm not against learning!), I don't own anything by lululemon, I can't possibly figure out how to eat all organic, natural and local food while following the latest random health craze (and staying within a reasonable budget), I'm not a bandwagon jumper (I love my teams, through wins and losses), I like to ride my bike, but I also have a car which truthfully gets me around more easily than my bike (but it doesn't mean that I don't care about the environment) and lastly, I probably don't know that obscure band that you are talking about (though I'd love to hear them and will probably like them). I'm open minded and not pretentious. I'm looking for someone of a similar nature. I care about what's going on in the world and am definitely a news junkie. I used to work in international affairs, I continue to volunteer with the Red Cross and respond to disasters when necessary. I have a professional career that allows me to take care of myself. I love to travel. I've been to a few interesting places, heard of Djibouti? I'm pretty easy going, but definitely have opinions, I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and I'm close to my family. When I go out, it's usually to a pub with friends to watch a Canucks game, watch a band play or hang out on a patio. I'm a big sports fan, hockey, soccer and football being my favourites. I like to stay active and be outdoors in general. I play soccer a few times a week and have a pretty blue bike that needs to get out more. Hiya...I'm a business analyst for a hotel software company here in Vegas, but while work is important, there's so much more to it!
