Hey!! I'm a nurse. I've just finished my Bachelor's degree and have not gotten used to the idea of free time yet. I have not totally convinced myself that online dating or friend seeking or whatever it is I am trying to accomplish on a website is normal, but here I am. I like simple things. I hate when things are made harder than they need to be. I feel like we should live the life we want to have. As of late I have been inspired by this crazy hippie place and started trying to maximize my organic potential. I started gardening, I have three chickens that produce way too many eggs, I try to can my own fruit, veggies, jam, and juices. That all being said I'm getting most of my information from books and the internet and have learned that there a 1,***wrong ways to do all this shit. But I manage, learn, and move on. My social life is kinda ridiculous. I don't know why I pay for cable because I never really allow myself the downtime to sit and watch tv. I have family and friends everywhere and take full advantage of my 4 day weekends whenever they pop up. I discovered stand up paddle boarding this summer and vowed to make it a big deal next year, hopefully I'll get my own board by then. I'm gonna stop there cause I feel like I'm rambling. But what I guess I'm looking for is something that feels real and is totally easy, everything I've tried lately has so many layers of complexity, my head gets all spinny. I just want to laugh and share and take it from there..slowly. I'm most comfortable in a little dive bar with a good jukebox.

I am not your average girl ... I used to shoot competitively (though not the greatest, only a Marksman), I love to ride my motorcycle rain or shine, love to camp and am usually up for a new adventure. I usually rock my jeans or yoga pants and a hoodie, but appreciate the few and far between occasions where dressing up is appropriate. I was recently in a motorcycle accident so I haven't been able to hit the gym like I normally do since June, but in a few months I should be cleared to again. Just started walking around again, so hoping to be back weight lifting, playing volleyball and hiking again soon! :)A few other points you may need to know ... due to a lot of bad events in his life, I now have custody of my awesome ***year old nephew so I a "package deal" (currently foster parent, potentially adopting). I am also extremely patriotic, so if you are going to say anything against our soldiers, you better back away slowly now! I'm not looking for a revolving door of guys, so if you're looking for a hook up please save us both some time and effort. Not trying to sound bad, just trying to save everybody some hassle and heartache. ***Note: if there is no clear face picture if you on here, I equate that to hiding and I'm not a fan of that! I haven't dated in a long time and have never online dated. This is very new to me. I also think I should add that I am in the divorce process and have been seperated for a year. Self narratives can be a bit cheesy and cliche, so I'll just share a bit about my likes, dislikes and meetville pet peeves... (Fair warning, if you don't like reading, turn back now). LIKES:Tall!!!!! (at least as tall as me when I'm in heels - I'm 5' 8" so w/ 3" heels I'm only 1" shy of standing 6' tall)Thin w/ a bit of muscle - toned arms w/ a nice chest and stomach (not that I am ruling out all other body types, it’s just that I've never found myself physically attracted to overweight or overly muscle-y/bulky guys)Tattoos (not a must but definitely a plus!)Goatees (again, not a must but I'm sucker for handsome, well groomed facial hair)Short hair (I just don’t dig long hair on guys, and by "long" hair I mean past-the-shoulders-ponytail-type long)Great sense of humor with a touch of good-natured sarcasm (someone who's hilarious will catch my attention faster than a shirtless male model, and if you can handle my humor as well, then double bonus!!!)Good morals/values/work ethic, etc. (this is just as hot to me as a good sense of humor) DISLIKES:Unemployed (I know the job market sucks lately so not all joblessness is a drawback, but if you flipped burgers for a living and just decided to up and quit one day to go the unemployed route because "work sucks"... well, keep lookin’ because I am not the girl for you!)Multiple kids with multiple baby-mommas/ex-wives (Kids are awesome and I have no problem dating a man who has kids, but I would just prefer to limit the amount of baby-mommas/ex-wives to one) Overly political or religious (there’s nothing wrong with a person having strong political and/or religious views/beliefs, however, I much prefer the company of those who are a little more easygoing and free-spirited)POF PET PEEVES:Please, oh please, DO NOT message me if you are not actually looking for a relationship. I've reached a point in my life where I want to find someone to share my happy days, sad days, and all around awesome days with. Lack of creativity in an opening message through meetville.... Just a heads up.... a message simply containing the words “hey cutie”, “hi”, “what’s up hottie?” (or even worse “sup?”), “you’re hot” (actually I usually see it misspelled “your”), and other messages of the like will most likely go unanswered.... no offense but..... *yaaaaawwwwwnnnnn*Messaging me to tell me my profile is too long. If you don't like reading you could've just moved on to the next short/semi-illiterate/boring/vague/cliche profile. You can certainly still send me a message complaining about the length and content of my profile if you wish, but trust me I'll just delete your message and go on my merry way.
