After writing my first intro, I felt I really didn’t say what I wanted to convey about myself and my goal for entering the online dating scene. First, and foremost, I am looking for a friend, and I am hoping you will become my best friend. I came out of a long term relationship and learned a lot about myself, my needs, and my desires. I am looking for an active participant in my life, and that may include the rest of my life, if we make the connection that so many of us want so badly, but I have values and love and respect for each other comes first. I took up running four years ago- bucket list thing-and find running to be a great stress reliever and I believe we all should eat healthy and stay active. I work in kindergarten and I can color up a storm, and often come home with glitter littering my hair. I never run out of hugs, nor patience, and education is my passion and purpose in life. Like everyone, honesty and open conversation is key to a healthy, happy relationship. I am tired of doing things alone and seriously, life is meant to be shared. I know how to do many things on my own, and if I don’t know how to do something, I will figure it out eventually. However, the one thing I have trouble with is finding a person who has the same values and desires as I do. I am quite adaptable to many situations, and appearance is secondary to personality and moral standards. Simply stated, you treat people how you would like to be treated. We all have faults, and a certain amount of history (or baggage), but life is all about second chances, learning from our mistakes (hopefully), and being able to hike up our pants and move forward and be abetter person for the lesson learned. If you are only attracted to my face, well, I can guarantee that part of me will change as the years go on. However, my spirit and soul will always be a constant: warm, kind, and caring. Always. The best first date should be meeting at a public place where we can talk. A screaming bar scene is not as effective as a walk along the shore or through a park, or at corner pub/coffee shop table, in my opinion.

I want to work on fitness this year and need some guidance in this department. .My church and faith are important to me.; heavy metal or rap makes me crazy and Marley makes me lazy, but other than that anything goes.-type shows, classical, bluegrass or country and want to upgrade to smaller venues with talented Indie artists. I enjoy movies-usually action, romantic comedies, dramas or sci-fi-not horror. Many cuisines are appealing to me, including Italian, Seafood, Mexican or traditional Southern fare, but I especially like restaurants that cook better than I do. I'll even sample your cooking, bring wine and do the dishes. I've never been to a comedy club, but love to laugh so would probably enjoy that.Most gentlemen are into outdoor activities. The arts and sports don't usually mix, but my association with band allows me to follow the plays of football and basketball. I also would like to see the Hurricanes in action or a Panthers game. I'm scared to get involved with golf, because I'd probably become obsessed-have never held a club. I windsurfed once and loved it, even though I got wet a lot. I also love to feel the breeze on a boat and would enjoy kayaking-just haven't had the time or equipment. I'll walk pretty much anywhere in the sunlight, but wouldn't go rock climbing or rappelling. I love snow but have never been skiing or skating. If you don't mind a tight hug, I'd ride a motorcycle. I would love to ride horses but I do not care for NASCAR, hunting or tractor pulls. To me, a relationship involves mutual respect, truly caring about the other person and romance. I can appreciate friendship or being swept off my feet, but for the long haul, a relationship needs both. I'm looking for someone honest, funny, romantic and intelligent. Someone with kind eyes and a genuine smile.) I may have to check which ACC team you pull for...-If I showed you my dark side, would you run away? OOps, not supposed to go too deep on these profiles...I lean toward the liberal side but teach my students patriotic values. Then follow up with coffee, etc. afterwards to be still and talk.If life were a movie, I'd follow you through the labyrinth of a beautiful forest until we got to the center of the maze where you had set up a nice meal with candles and wine.
