We all have faults, and a certain amount of history (or baggage), but life is all about second chances, learning from our mistakes (hopefully), and being able to hike up our pants and move forward and be abetter person for the lesson learned. The best first date should be meeting at a public place where we can talk. A screaming bar scene is not as effective as a walk along the shore or through a park, or at corner pub/coffee shop table, in my opinion.
