The first date is the most awkward part of re-entry into the dating scene. I believe there needs to be at least a bit of chemistry between us if there is to be a second date. Whether drinks and dinner or a walk through the woods, the conversation should flow naturally between us. I'm a little old fashioned in that I prefer the man to initiate the first contact. Don't get me wrong, I'm a confident, direct woman, who likes to be in control, however, when it comes to love, I'm looking for a man to take care of me, to make me feel special and loved and secure.
