On several occasions I've heard that you've never really loved until the 2nd time around. I hope that's true since the 1st time just ended a couple months ago. After 20 yrs, some of the things I would do differently the next time is be a better listener and try harder to keep myself in shape both mentally and physically in order to give to the other person and to accept others as they are: by middle age, people probably are not going to change. On that note, I enjoy laughing and teasing and appreciating the differences in the opposite sex. What I'm looking for in a mate is for someone that has their own life and career and we can bond together on the weekends and ***week days with more as time progresses. I work a 40 hr week job and attend school at nite towards my nursing degree. I want a moral person, one that believes in going to church. I like to eat out, movies, bowling, skating, playing cards, the occasional bar and dancing, hiking, swimming, boating, skiing, tennis and ACC basketball games. Don't know much about golf but willing to learn. Don't own a bike, but willing to get one. Enjoy home repair seminars. I have 2 teenagers, 19 and 17 and both live with me, but following the advise of preachers and counselors, I will put my mate first, I love my kids, but it is extremely important to create an adult life for myself. Both parents have passed, but I enjoy spending time with senior citizens immensely. Especially like doing this in the cold/winter weather. Generally speaking, I'm a morning person, I like to be awake during daylight hours more than evening/night events, but I'm ok with the occasional evening/late event.I'm not beyond enjoying being pampered a little and enjoy the opportunity to occasionally pamper others.I'm vegan -- been veg most of my life -- so far. I took a certificate raw-foods chef course and they didn't kick me out either, but I am not 100% raw, just 100% vegan.
