A little about me... Life. In my eyes it is a gift. I have been very fortunate. I have enjoyed the finest of opportunities and experiences and, the not so fine. Either way I am grateful for them. I am not sure this is the way to go for me to find a partner in my life, but I suppose it is worth one more attempt. so here goes something... maybe. I enjoy Travel and have taken myself around the world to many beautiful places. I have always enjoyed travel and will glean many valuble experiences yet. It is my hope I will find someone who will enjoy these expeditions with me. Many places in the world to see.... I do like to call BC home though. Hobbies. Work seems to get in the way quite often, but when I can I fit in most anything that is possible I have tried many sports and they continue to keep me busy be it snowboarding, baseball, ATV's, swimming or a good trek thru East Sooke park. I like to stay active but it is not beyond me to have a day of mindless T.V. and a comfy couch or a good book. Family. Is important to me. We visit when we can and are close. FYI -I'm not on here for 'Friends' or 'Hang out'. Socially i like to see local bands (80's, classic rock, current rock), go to fests, Wisc Dells, flea markets, garage sales, downtown at night, classic car shows, and of course....nights on the couch. I like get away weekends, hot tubs, fast cars, tattoos, motorcycles. i'm not exactly the outdoorsy type, but i will do camping/fishing/boating. I prefer a man who is ***yrs old, intelligent, has a job and a car. blue collar or white collar...doesn't matter. looking for a decent, caring guy that has the time and actually knows how to treat a woman. p.s. It is a great movie and the main theme is to LIVE! LIVE! LIVE! I have not been truly doing this the past 40 years. So many years I thought I was fine being alone with no man to share my life but now I realize I hate being alone and want to find my match.I love trying out new experiences, going to new restaurants, going to different places. I would like to travel more. I have been to Europe a few times and loved it. Seeing new places, eating new food is such an adventure. I dream of seeing Asia and South America someday.I am trying to be more active in order to get into shape, and would love to have a guy who loves to work out to help encourage me. I have heard having a workout partner is fun. I like doing light weights and doing core work. During the summer months I run Autocross at least once a month. I drive a sporty VW that I love pushing to see how fast it can go. It is a safe way to test my driving skills and push my cute little car. Too bad our harea has not hiking areas since I have done hiking a few times and liked it. I also enjoy movies, theater, ballet, reading a good book and listening to some good classical music or opera. I like to watch a variety of sports, especially tennis, hockey, soccer, and Formula 1 Racing.I am kind of a geek since I enjoy reading fantasy books, playing Magic the Gathering, watching Dr Who and other Sci-Fi series. Take a chance on me and contact me. I might be that diamond in the rough you are looking for and will definitely surprise you. I would like to go to dinner at a nice (does not need to expensive) restaurant where we can talk without being drowned out by the music. Then follow that with maybe a movie or some other entertainment.

Currently my hobbies are conference calls and business meetings. I love it and have an awesome job. Career dictates much of my life and that's fine as I have a very aggressive retirement (playtime) goal. When I do have down time I love to travel and Vegas is a mandatory once a year trip. My life is what I make it and right now it is great. Yes, I would like to share it with another but that isn't what defines me. I am extremely fortunate to have wonderful friends and family that have helped mold me into the person I am today. Can't say exactly right now what I'm looking for as I will know it when I see or feel it. Heck the right eye contact at the right moment can make the heart skip a beat...so no real predetermined expectations...but 8 months of snow is just too much.Fairly open with TV, movies and music.
