Hi,Let me start off by saying people intrigue me and I often find myself wondering what they're thinking. I'm very much a people person and I’m very open-minded to new adventures and cultures. My career is currently on hold for the time being, however I still continue with my skills so I don't lose them. At the moment I am waiting for the Mediation, Leadership, Negotiation courses among others to start at Dalhousie. In my field of work there is a lot of research, attention to details. You must be able to work under dead lies, and you always have to keep an open mind to the facts or figure out what is fictitious. I love doing it because it is never repetitive. Most importantly you have to have the ability to keep your emotions aside, which sometimes can be hard.I'm not actively looking for a relationship, however, I’m open to one if the right guy comes along.. I'm not really sure what to say. I've haven't done this before so, I'm winging it!! I am a regional manager for an in home care agency so I have a demanding job with a great deal of stress. I work hard and appreciate a person with a strong work ethic. I enjoy working out and go to the gym everyday, I also enjoy movies and love to cook. I would love to travel and see the world but day to day I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have a sarcastic side and can always find a joke in just about anything so a sense of humor is very important to me. I think people in general take themselves too seriously and over analyze things when sometimes things are best left by saying "it is wat it is!!". I like to keep things simple. First dates are stressful and the less pressure the better. Its an opportunity to get to know someone and see if they are someone you even are going to LIKE... and you cant do that by pretending to be someone you arent so, it should be something comfortable. For me a perfect first date would be one that had THOUGHT put into it. In a quiet, quaint, hole in the wall place in the middle of nowhere where there aren't ***other people around. Have a nice dinner and see where the conversation goes, then drinks but not ALOT of drinks!! Lol!! Drunk is NOT cute!! If you can't get through a conversation without noise and distraction then there's probably not going to be a second date....

That being said, sipping coffee with friends or an awesome book (likely a mystery) is still a big deal in my world. In my spare time, I am trying my hand at drawing; it is a hoot, especially when the very specific human subject somehow looks like an alien by the time I’m finished drawing. Post-rationalization is a wonderful thing though: “of course that was my intention all along.”). I am curious about things. I can get stuck on the minutiae which will completely engross me. I like learning and peanut butter but not shopping. Although I don’t live near my family, I am close to them. I was about to describe myself as a "geek" for the describe-myself-in-single-word, but then I remembered the original historical meaning of a geek is someone who bites heads off chickens...and decided that was not me. Nerd perhaps, but definitely not a geek. (You can use that tidbit of info for your next trivial pursuit night party.). But I digress...Who are you? Maybe you have dry wit and a sense of the absurd. You are confident. You like being outdoors and are keen for spontaneous adventures big or small. You are perhaps energetic yet laid-back. But really, I can simply say you are interesting. If any of the above (aka me) strikes your fancy, I would enjoy hearing from you. A coffee or drink somewhere on the first date so that we can plan our next adventure.
