I tend to lose myself in engaging conversations; however, I am not afraid to share moments of comfortable silence. I am independent, but I am not a feminist. I have been known to melt when shown acts of chivalry. Are you a curb-side guy? At times, I may be analytical and forthright; however, I am quite open-minded and I embrace new ideas. Although I am mostly a city girl, I thoroughly enjoy the outdoors (as long as you protect me from the bears). I absolutely love my career, but at the end of the day, upon returning home, I know what my priorities are and what true happiness is. I am an avid reader, but that does not deflect my passion for movies. Yet, another passion of mine is watching awe-inspiring extreme sports. I do not partake in such sports, rather, I am merely a bystander. My most cherished friends and family members may use the following words to best describe me: "caring, thoughtful, patient and compassionate." I would add the words sweet and kind to the list. I am more than happy and willing to help others and I do so without expecting graces in return. I do not frequent bars or club scenes, with the exception of supporting metal bands. Something you may not have suspected given my appearance and gentle nature. I consider myself an extremely light, social drinker; having a glass of wine on occasion. I am strong in my faith, but I am not over zealous with religion. I love to laugh and I do not offend easily; I have a great sense of humor. Are you a well-rounded, fun-spirited, caring man? Are you looking for an honest and loyal woman? Then, I would love to share interests; some of mine, some of yours and some new ones we may discover together. Something great is about to happen.. For a first date, I prefer our meeting over a cup of coffee/tea. Perhaps a drink and appetizer or a light lunch. It is not necessary, nor do I expect a gentleman to afford an expensive dinner. That's for the second date. Only teasing. ;) Yes, my preference may seem somewhat mundane; however, I believe the first visit is more about engaging with conversation. Creative and adventurous dates may soon follow!

I was about to describe myself as a "geek" for the describe-myself-in-single-word, but then I remembered the original historical meaning of a geek is someone who bites heads off chickens...and decided that was not me. Nerd perhaps, but definitely not a geek. (You can use that tidbit of info for your next trivial pursuit night party.). But I digress...Who are you? Maybe you have dry wit and a sense of the absurd. You are confident. You like being outdoors and are keen for spontaneous adventures big or small. You are perhaps energetic yet laid-back. But really, I can simply say you are interesting.
