I've traveled extensively and always like coming home!! I have an appreciation for historical architecture and cultural attributes. I can be comfortable at a formal event as well as a backyard BBQ. I would say I'm very flexible in nature, however, have a very low tolerance for drama. Less is more! Most important thing to know is I am an independent woman and a lot of men can't take that so if you are one of those men by all means keep on going on with your search. I am not a smoker and am not looking for someone that is. I drink from time to time and not looking for someone who's time to time is everyday. I am sure I sound direct that is because I am yet at the same time my heart is wide open but I will proceed with caution as I have been burnt on this site once already. One important thing to know about me is that I work with individuals with special needs and have done so for 15 years and in my eyes and years of experience one has to be a good person to be able to face that challenge on a daily basis but I would not change my career for anything. I love what I do.Last but not least by any means, COMMUNICATION is HUGE with me and I don't mean by texting a conversation, if you have to text me more then 3x's then a phone call is appreciated. Hard to say until I hear your voice and we have talked then I think WE should plan how we will meet for the first time together...

Not big on talking about myself. Lets see; I'm happy, joyful- I'm kind. I'm definitely funny. Don't believe survival is possible UNLESS you laugh. I am very relaxed. Affectionate. Memorable, can't say everyone likes me but they know when I'm in a room. I am not a nonconformist- I just don't need others to define me & I'm not worried about what people think. I love people though I have no problem being alone. I love love love art. Mine & whatever else I can experience. Just about every form of art is valid in my opinion. Which is probably the most special thing about it. Reading-fiction & a whole lot of that. I'm picky about the writing style-even if Borders & Movies & TV not so much. Repetitousness far too apparent in those mediums. However if you can recommend a good film I'll suspend judgement. Music, now that's a place I am completely open to. I'll listen to everything at least once. If I like an artist then I'll want to hear everything they've done. But ,once again, I'll know exactly what I like & why. And I'm not all that likely to think the piece being promoted is the best written. I like my bike & just breathing deep when I'm on it. Nothing will change my mood faster than a bike ride. Or a nap. My Grandmother taught me those two things-get up & move,or lie down & dream-either way you will take care of most ailments. First dates are tricky-chemistry is not something you can always count on- so I think first dates are better if not a BIG DEAL. Meet for coffee or drinks. Now SECOND dates?? That's a big deal. Dinner. I think that you can learn alot someone over a nice meal....
