Description, well, let's see here I am honest, bluntly honest, to a degree. I have been known to be gun-shy and back out on a date at the last minute. See, told ya I was honest. It seems like the only men that want to date me is way out of town and when I get to thinking about it's like this. I have a career and I have no intention of moving away from the area that I live in because of my family and my career so why would I want to start dating a man that lives 2 hours away from me? I know who I am and what I want out of life, the hard part is sticking to the goal and objectives. I am very strong minded and tend to be on the independent side, even been told I am too independent for my own good. I am looking for a man who is not afraid of making a decision. A man that will walk beside me and not behind me to watch my ass as I walk. A man that is mature and sure of himself, not love struck in the first few dates, please we are adults here right? A few extra pounds are ok but obese. Just being honest. I am not skinny by no means but put together well in all right areas. A sense of humor is a must and must be able to put up with mild sarcasm. I do not drink or do drugs. I can't stand to be around a drunk. It is rude and very unbecoming of a person male or female.I have noticed alot of guys pics w children. The first thing I think of n just can't help it is.... Petifile. Pictures of men is a big turn off to me. I would never post pics of my children on a dating site. Think what you will. I don't care I just think its real tacky. This is a dating site for the love of god! A first date in my mind should be simple. A good sandwich shop n a nice walk window shopping or in the park. A picnic so we can talk n get a feel for one another n see if there could be a second date to explore further or just leave it as friends. That's something I've noticed it seems that some men don't seem to understand being friends is most important part of a relationship. If it goes further then that's an added bonus to build on.

Lets see, well i would do something that offered us to be ourselves, like amusement parks, sports events, charity work, or comedy clubs. These type of dates remove some of the nervousness of first dates and you get to see the normal side of people. Any one can be impressed by looks or the way someone dresses, but thats all superficial and doesnt matter is they are a snob or drama queen or constant complainer. Save the intimate dates like dinner for the next time if you are interested. Just think, "Would my mom like her/him?"
