Hi!-OP transgendered woman. If you are looking for someone who is outgoing, loving, fun, smart, honest and going to make you smile then maybe you should keep reading this. My friends describe me as crazy- but in a good way. (I joke that my theme song is You May Be Right by Billy Joel.) I am always willing to say yes to any adventure (I did quit my job to travel around the world ***countries) for a year after my friend asked me to join her), I make dry jokes which crack me right up, and people can always count on me to cheer them up when they are down. I love to laugh and put others in a good mood. I try to see the best in things and always think of the glass as half full. I am very outgoing, free spirited, love the outdoors, being on the ski slopes, on the water (sailing, scuba diving, water skiing, etc.), or cooking and drinking vino on the couch. I am pretty easy going, though I have high expectations for myself and those around me. I can't tell a lie to save my life (which I think is a good thing) and I give 110% to most everything I do, especially towards my family. I have a keen interest in learning and have been auditing classes since graduating from AU. I love my job and have had a bit of success at it, but also get to enjoy a great work-life balance. However, I am looking for someone I can share my free time with to- have fun with, cook with, take random adventures with, improve my tennis game and golf swing with, take photo's with, and sail and ski with, and most importantly, someone to love and respect. In addition, I guess I am somewhat traditional and want to look up to my man and have him to stimulate my mind and challenge my thoughts- I really would like a gentleman who is well educated and extremely motivated. We need to share the same goals and many of the same passions. lol But really? I don't want to meet you if you look like you can't lighten up a bit for a photo. I had to get that off my chest. hahaFirst, I live in the cities and work at a daycare with infants. I consider myself geek-light. lol I know little bits of random things, but I'm really not a hardcore geek about too many things. haha. I'm a little bit of a homebody, but I do like to get out every now and then. I am in belly dance classes and have been for a couple years now. It doesn't mean I'm amazing at it, but I think I might be able to carry a little bit of a rhythm. A little. I have a background in massage therapy, though I don't practice right now. I also have training in energy work and aromatherapy and such. In the fall I'll be training to be a doula. I'm excited about that and ready for something new.I like a wide range of movies, music, etc. One minute I'm watching a rom-com, the next is a bollywood movie or some random other foreign movie. haha I admit not liking "scary" movies for 2 reasons. 1)most of them are actually horrible. 2)I'm a big wuss. lol I don't watch much for tv just because I don't have cable. Just the internet and local stations. I'm currently just waiting for (BBC) Sherlock to release it's new season. That's a little bit of my "geek" side. Music, I have few guilty pleasures that I don't really feel guilty about. I listen to rock, pop, some of whatever is on pop radio, not country though. I just can't get into it. Again, it's really just what my mood is calling for. I grew up listening to Weird Al, and I will reach for my Disturbed albums, or Backstreet Boys. Tease me all you like. I love cheesy stuff sometimes (movies, too).I am quite a bit shy from time to time, and other times I'll talk your ear off. I have to be comfortable first. So, I really need someone that isn't afraid to talk, even if it's most of the night. lol I TRY to have a good sense of humor about myself. I'm pretty mellow and take maybe 15 minutes to get ready in the morning. (Probably because those babies really don't care if I'm wearing any makeup). I dress up from time to time to go out, but I'm most comfortable in jeans and a shirt just relaxing at home.
