Most Americans Motivate Their Wives to Work

Men don’t want to marry housewives any more. Most Americans voted for working wives in the course of the survey, held from 2/14/14 to 8/15/14 by Meetville (dating app to find the right person).

137,533 participants of the poll answered a question «Do you support the idea of working wife?» and the responses were: «Yes» - 74%, «No» - 26%.

According to Ayesha Pervez, a journalist, there are no doubts in the benefits of working. Whether it is simple employment, a business or a full fledged career – working empowers a woman with confidence, independence and security. It is a great feeling for a woman to be able to utilise her education and skills, benefit society and perhaps even contribute to her household.

Interesting that among those who answered “Yes”, we see 60% – Male votes, 40% – Female; with “No” we have 30% – Male, 70% – Female.

Alex Cusper, Meetville service analyst, comments on the results: «Women have been fighting for their equality to men for centuries. Finally, men accepted this idea and are ready to share with their wifes everything, including financial liabilities. But most women still prefer to rely on their husbands income, which is traditionally higher».
