Americans Contribute Every Day to World’s Ecology
People become more and more aware about ecological aspects of lifestyle. This fact was found in the course of the survey, held from 5/16/14 to the 7/16/14 by Meetville (dating app to find the right person).
The poll posed the question “Do you care for ecology at home (using eco package, paper bags etc)?”, to which participants responded Yes - 65% and No - 35%.
The total number of participants was 43,798. From the USA - 63%, from Canada - 4%, from Britain - 12%, Australia - 8% and other countries - 13%.
Bart King, the principal of New Growth Communications says: “Eco-friendly behaviors are growing more socially acceptable to mainstream America, and any lingering stigma around “being green” is fading. In fact, getting caught throwing trash out of the car window is more embarrassing to than getting caught cheating on their taxes”.
Interesting that males were much more active voters than females in this survey. So, the answer “Yes” was given by 68% of men and 32% of women, still 64% of men and 36% of women chose “No”.
According to Alex Cusper, Meetville service analyst, the difference between the responses can be explained as follows: people who live in a progressive and civilized society realize that it is time to care about the ecology, because this improves the quality of their own lives. People think about the future of their kids and are informed about horrible ecological disasters that already happen in the world.
