Disneyland is not a place that usually comes to mind when you are thinking of where to take a date. But, you can still enjoy this incredible place as an adult going with someone special. Disneyland is most romantic at night, so better check the Disneyland website to see what time the park closes when you want to go. Remember that Southern California can get chilly at night even if it was hot during the day, so bring a light jacket or sweater for you and/or your date, even if it’s hot during the day. You can as well see the fireworks, they are awesome! The best place to see the fireworks is from somewhere in the Main Street area. We hope you follow these suggestions, and you’ll be on your way to an amazing date time at Disneyland!

Even if you haven’t heard of the Cicada, you’ve seen it in movies like “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”.  Stepping inside this amazing art-deco space is like traveling in a time machine back to 1930.  Formerly a men’s clothing store, it’s now a restaurant, featuring Italian and American dishes. On the top floor is a bar serving cool vintage drinks. On certain nights (about once a week), the restaurant turns into “The Cicada Club”, featuring vintage 1920’s and 30’s bands with Swing dancing in the front floor. There is a dress code on these nights. Men must wear suit and tie.  Women, cocktail dress or suit.  There is no dance lesson, so brush up in your East Coast Swing beforehand.

3.  Strolling around The Pine Avenue Pier

There are several parking structures around Pine avenue. If you have an afternoon to spare, you can check out the Aquarium of the Pacific, open from 9AM to 6PM most days of the year. But actually, what can  be better than strolling around the Pine Avenue Pier area waterfront around sunset? The views of the ocean, sky, lighthouse, boats, and the Queen Mary will be spectacular around dusk! Take your date there and watch those views together!
