We decided to make a list of movies that will not only put you in the holiday spirit but also inspire you to go in search of your love. These films show us interesting and unexpected stories that have happened to the main characters. While watching, it becomes clear that love can penetrate our hearts in an absolutely magical way that gives us hope of a miracle.
1. Love Actually

2. The Family Stone
The Family Stone is somewhat similar to Love Actually in that it also features a large cast of characters, each of whom has their own story. But, instead of being a group of interconnected characters, this large cast is a diverse, quirky family.
The romance between a New Yorker and a British single woman is short-lived as they let fate determine if they are meant to be together. The plot twists as the two try to find one another in New York City, seemingly against all odds, although they’re closer than either of them knows.
4. Four Christmases
Lovers Brad and Kate plan to go on a vacation to Fiji to spend the holidays. However, when their vacation plan is foiled, they are forced to visit all four of their divorced parents for Christmas.
5. Just Friends
The plot focuses on a formerly overweight high school nerd who attempts to free himself from the friend zone after reconnecting with his lifelong crush and best friend while visiting his hometown for Christmas.
6. The Best Man Holiday
When college friends reunite after 15 years over the Christmas holidays, they discover just how easy it is for long-forgotten rivalries and romances to be reignited.

Kate is a young woman subscribed to bad decisions. Working as an elf in a year-round Christmas store is not good for the wannabe singer. However, she meets Tom there. Her life takes a new turn. For Kate, it seems too good to be true.
11. A Very Merry Mix-Up
A woman goes to spend Christmas with her fiance’s family but ends up at the wrong house. However, she instantly bonds with the couple who live there and becomes attracted to their son. When the mistake comes to light, she wonders whether she might be happier with her newfound friends than her partner and his relatives.
12. 12 Dates of Christmas
A story that follows Kate, a young woman who, after a horrible blind date on Christmas Eve, wakes up to find she is re-living that same day and date all over again. Under these weird new circumstances, Kate learns to take risks and enjoy what she’s been given. Thanks to the gift on Christmas Eve, Kate finds happiness by finally trusting fate.
13. The Princess Switch
A young woman from Chicago named Stacy travels all the way to Belgravia for a baking contest and meets a Duchess who looks exactly like her. The two women agree to switch places. Ultimately, they both find love and live happily ever after.
14. The Family Man
A fast-lane investment broker offered the opportunity to see how the other half lives, wakes up to find that his sports car and girlfriend have become a minivan and a wife. As he stumbles through this alternate suburban universe, Jack begins to feel strangely comfortable in this new role of loving husband and father to two children. Jack finds himself at a crossroads, where he must choose between his high-powered career and the woman he loves.
15. A Wish For Christmas
Sara Thomas is the type of woman who prefers to sit on the sidelines at work, but when her big idea for a Christmas initiative is stolen, she makes a wish to Santa that she’ll finally have the courage to stand up for herself. Santa grants her wish, but only gives her 48 hours. As the clock ticks, Sara will discover how to channel the Christmas magic and speak her mind all on her own.
16. Nightmare Before Christmas
The cartoon tells about the Halloween kingdom – the kingdom of fears and nightmares, where the dead, freaks, monsters live, led by the king of horrors Jack Skellington. On Christmas Day, Jack accidentally finds himself in the city of Christmas, where he finds out that somewhere there is joy, goodness, and fun. He truly wanted to experience this feeling – to give people happiness – and he kidnapped Santa Claus and took his place. The results were, however, the most deplorable, and no one liked his gifts. But he managed to correct his mistake.
17. A Christmas Prince
On Christmas Eve, an aspiring journalist Amber travels to the kingdom of Aldovia to report on the Crown Prince’s accession to the throne. Cunningly lingering at the court, she will try to find out the entire truth about the future king – after all, so far the press is known for the secretive heir only loud partings with girls.
18. Matchmaker Christmas
Maggie, an editor at a publishing firm, helps her boss find a couple for her Christmas party. Matching friends is her hobby. When her former lover appears, she strays from the usual rhythm of life. She will have to choose what is more important: her own happiness or the happiness of her friend.
They decided to celebrate Christmas … in summer. The mother of the family, dying of an incurable disease, gathers the whole family at home for the last time. But she wants to die on her own terms. And everything goes according to her plan, until old contradictions, unresolved conflicts, and family secrets come out.
20. The War with Grandpa
A story about a wayward boy Peter, who enters the struggle for his personal space with his widowed grandfather, who moves to his beloved room. Wanting to oust his grandfather, Peter launches a whole campaign of pranks, but the sedentary old man turns out to be much more inventive than one might think.
