What to write... If I were to pick one (and only one) "perfect" way to spend an evening w/ someone with whom I've found an interest, what would we do? What if I feel subtle, or adventurous, or "dangerous"... I enjoy cooking and I find peace in making something great from something good... ya gotta have the right ingredients. Admittedly, I am a foodie, so I enjoy the whole dining experience. I exercise for the sake of being fit, but prefer to hide it by hiking or some other physical activity that’s worth the effort THEN and later. I love music and listen to just about everything. I love to travel, but prefer to be w/ someone. for the company (of course), but mostly because no one would believe me without a witness. (the things I've seen...) What to say, what to say......... Well I've been on here for a while now. I can honestly say that it has been a bit of an adventure. I've met some great people, and I've also met some that were quite scary. About me, well I am a pretty easy going guy. I work quite a bit so I don't have a lot of free time to go and meet new people. I have been a drummer for many years and although I am not currently playing in a band I am hoping to get back into it soon. I miss it. About you.... well that is the million dollar question isn't it. I have to say that I am looking for someone with some life to her. I like the idea of a woman that can challenge me in many ways, you are intelligent and hard working. You are funny and like to laugh and have a good time, you realize that life is far too short to be miserable. I would love to find someone that shares my beliefs, not in need of a saint but if you have said beliefs yourself you know what I mean ! I have to say that smoking for me is a huge turn off. I love it here and have never been able to find a reason to live anywhere else! I have been envolved in construction as a career in many different facets for most of my adult life, but I have recently made the transition into a more professional role. I have an office now. Weird! I guess you could say that I'm all grows'd up now.I try to live each day to the fullest, and rarely pass up the opportunity to help someone in need. I don't take myself, or life for that matter, too seriously. After all, both are fleeting and worth enjoying. I do however, hold a few things in high regard: trust, respect, honesty, and love. I am the eternal optimist, and try to find the good in every situation. I try to solve problems and not create them. For both recreation and compition. But lately, I have been concintrating on fitness. I wouldn't say I'm a gym rat, but I go almost every day. I've found that all the fun outdoor activities are much more enjoyable if you can own them with a fit body and clear mind. I would say my " party" days are pretty much over, but I do drink sometimes and like hanging out at a cool bar. It's really more about the people I'm with any more though. We humans are creatures of habit, and my circles have gotten tighter over the years. Which leads me here, as I don't meet many women that aren't attached to my friends. Good ol technology!For those of you that are wondering where the shirtless pics are, sorry I don't have any. Not really my style. Had to go back several years just to fill this deal up. Lol Also, don't pay any attention to the ever morphing facial hair. I settled in on none, just don't have any current pics. Please don't judge my ability to make you laugh ( as you all seem to be looking for that in a guy) based on this little dissertation. If you meet me, I assure you, you will have plenty to laugh at! Bottom line is, I believe we are all here for basically the same reason: To continue moving forward in our lives. So, at least we kwow we have that in common! I'm open to pretty much anything as long as it's a setting that is conducive to getting to know each other. I think that's kinda the point.
