I heard the song on the radio recently from Train, "Brusies" and it really hit home for me. We all have bruises from life, but they make us who we are today. The song says "you are not alone in how you've been, everybody loses...we all got bruises."My bruises: My love passed away unexpectedly and I'm trying to figure out life now. Yes, I am still sad and hurting but I am hopeful that one day I will meet someone to share my life with again. That being said - I am not sure how soon I would be ready to be in a relationship or if I'm really even ready yet. But good honest friends are a plus, so I figured what's it gonna hurt to try this site.I am a single mother of two children. I work full time, always have. I also like going to the movies and playing games. I do love a nice quiet night at home too. That's always nice when you have someone to share that with. I am not one to play games or be dishonest....so feel free to ask anything. It may not be the answer you want to hear but it will be the truth. I have learned the hard way by losing loved ones and from life in general that life is too short for any of that. I am not gonna try and be someone I am not. We are who we are, "we all got bruises!" Something low key so you can chat and get to know one another.Warning: I'm shy at first so first meetings can be a little awkward...please bare with me until I'm comfortable with you. I promise I don't stay that way! But honestly if you go in looking to meet a new friend, then that takes the pressure off. Who couldn't use a good friend? If there is something more - great, if not new friends are a plus! I am trying to convince myself so I won't be too shy...can you tell?
