Don't get me wrong I could go for a sports bar, throw on a pair of jeans and a hat and eat some nacho's and wings too. I eat healthy and like the healthy lifestyle tho. I juice just about every morning and love to talk about what is the best things to eat and drink for the optimum body health. I try to stay away from gluten and sugar, I do however have a week spot for cheese, the really nice, fine, yummy cheeses. I bake cakes and cupcakes from home. ,I eat organic, Non GMO, and grass fed meats.I would love to learn French as I have had a lot of experience with a French family and took it in high school so I have an app on my phone that I listen to when I get time..one of these days it'll come in handy when I finally take that Europe trip and enjoy me a little France whilst over there...lol!What I'm looking for- A Future, not a "For now".. I want to find someone to build life with that will be there for the distance. someone that enjoys time alone as a couple and time as a family with the kids. I am a certified Sommelier. Food and wine are definitely high on the list! I am a teacher and I am a transplant from colder regions. I am a reader and love to write. I like to play games (both console and board). I love sci-fi and horror, but there's a special place in my heart for campy zombie flicks (Night of the Comet, Ahhhh! Zombies, Shaun of the dead, etc). Dr. Horrible is an earworm on a regular basis. I am hard headed and independent at times, which makes me very difficult to push. And apparently, when I talk about myself, I write in simple sentences. While I am an English teacher, I am one of the least grammar-stubborn of my friends, which causes my friends to look at me and say, "But you're an English teacher." Probably something low-key where we can talk and get to know each other, like coffee or an event. I have found that movies don't seem to be a good first date, because you don't have a chance to talk and people can be very particular with their movie theater etiquette.
