I'll be back in NE come Dec.June ***Update: Currently hiking the Appalachian Trail. I enjoy trying new things and pushing myself to new limits, both physically and mentally. I love the outdoors and don’t mind getting dirty, long hikes or backpacking trips, healthy eating, MT biking, paintball, board games, dancing, concerts. I'm not opposed to staying in, I love documentaries, enjoy reading, and I always want to learn something new. I'm really not sure what I'm looking for - be it friendship, casual dating, or something a bit more sustainable. I admit, that any actual relationship would be hard to maintain as traveling is a part of my schooling as well as my interests. In January I will be going abroad for a semester, I want very much to thru-hiking the AT in April, and my career goal is to become a P.A. doing expeditionary medicine and humanitarian work abroad. Its all very exciting but it does make the possibility of any long term relationship appear rather bleak. However, I am not one to easily give up and I'm hoping that I can find someone with similar aspirations or just someone fun to hangout with. Hey! I'm Kristen. I'm new to town and looking to meet friends and maybe someone special to spend my time with. So about me....Well, I am pretty legit :) haha but seriously I'm a mix of laid back and adventurous, chill and crazy, love to have fun, love to travel, love love love music, and love to try new things.I'm also kind of a closet nerd and like to relax and nerd out with a good fantasy series (not the romance kind).I've been to ***countries in Western Europe and hope to do much more exploring whenever I can.In my spare time I'm into reading, dancing, playing Xbox and Wii, going out to live concerts/bars/restaurants/whatever, watching movies, whipping up some awesome in the kitchen, traveling, and finding really, really random things to do.I listen to a wide variety of music but some of the bands that I'm into include: The Black Keys (they're my favorite!+ the Machine, Led Zeppelin, Fun., Deadmau5, Beats Antique, Gorillaz, Outkast....the list literally goes on and on forever. I pretty much love everything except for country, screamo, metal, or grungy punk. I really, really hate country music (though randomly I can get down with some bluegrass or folk music).I won't lie I do tend to be somewhat of a workaholic but I love my job and my company and our growth is super important to me. I put in long hours and travel a bit with my boss.). I definitely want to have a work/life balance, though, and play just as hard as I work. That'll be easier when I have a reason to come home ;I'm interested in meeting someone who is funny, sweet, and confident who can chill on the couch with me but also be super motivated and ambitious, especially regarding your career. Loving music and to travel are definitely important as well as being an honest, good person in general. Looking for someone who is adventurous, non-religious, and non-smoking. I'm not looking for a BRO.I'm not a 'one night stand' kind of girl. I'd love to find someone to get to know and explore the area with that maybe turns into something long-term if the conditions are right.
