I'm very easy going, and not the clingy or overly emotional type. I'm very independent and don't have a lot of time for the whole dating scene. I think it's crucial to start out slow and see where things go- I'm quite content being single... It would be nice to have someone to enjoy life with but honestly, I'm not willing to settle for just anyone. It will take one hell of a guy to capture my heart since I am content with my life the way it is now. Im not sure about this whole online dating thing, but figure I will give it a try... It beats hanging out in the fruit section at the grocery store, ok i just lied... I would most likely be hanging out in the junk food section! I sometimes like the finer things in life, but purchase them myself, I'm not the type that expects men to buy me things or pay my way. I like to dress up occasionally for a nice dinner but can have fun at a dive bar, on a patio or anywhere I go. I also love to just hang out at home in my Yoga pants and watch football, hockey, drag racing...and an occasional chick flick of course. I absolutely love drag racing, I went on tour with John Force for two years and then worked for other Pro NHRA drivers for five years so all the race teams became like a second family to me. I'm still in contact with all of them and go to a few races each year...I can't stand NASCAR racing though. I've been super busy but can't complain one bit, working from home is the best!! I don't mean to be rude or anything, but don't have time or energy to respond to every message. Something quick... UPDATE: Please read as it is very important - I prefer men that are sized proportionately, not that you have to be built like Mr. Clean but, I'm not into overweight men. If you can't see your toes while standing up straight, you're not my type. Also, I DO NOT date black men. I DO still believe there is someone out there for me and isn't afraid to show it. I have a great group of friends but have yet to find that "special someone". I am very outgoing, fun loving, compassionate, warm, & ROMANTIC. I like everything from concerts to gardening, traveling, and BOATING! And yes there is such a thing as a girl that actually likes action movies, power tools, and cars. I take a lot of pride in my appearance. I am responsible, down to earth, funny, sarcastic & silly. I still believe in love and passion, holding hands, and public displays of affection. I feel if you're in love and happy, there's no shame in showing it! (As long as it's not to the point of mauling! Lol!) I like dining out, or cooking at home, (hopefully you're a good cook!! I'll prep & clean) with that someone special! A fire, a good bottle of wine, and intelligent or witty conversation sounds like a pretty good evening to me! The question is, does it to you?????When I'm dating I want to spend time with that person. I do not work an 8- I love music! All kinds except classical and I LOVE to dance. It would be AWESOME if you did too!!!What peaks my interest? A man that is strong yet can be tender, capable & caring, and not afraid to show how they feel. Someone that is NOT afraid to wrap you up in their arms and just be a shelter from everything for just a bit. I like a good sense of humor, whether dry or outright silly. He's got to love to laugh! I'd like to find someone special that is honest, forthright, passionate, diverse. All this is kind of a wish list, there are so many combinations that can be appealing. I am slowly wanting to start exploring unchartered territory, open to just about anything. :) ***Now, About the One I'm Looking For*** Most women won't tell you this, but...... I will have to admit, I like a bit of a bad boy -- not an awful, "I'm-going-to-treat-you-like-crap" kind of guy, but a GOOD kind of "bad boy". An exciting, adventurous and mysterious man. Even though I like a man I can "read" or a man that provides me with a sense of security, I still enjoy someone that leaves me guessing. HE will not only fascinate me, but bring out the best in me. Well, I have tried this several times with not much luck. I am not sure why that is, but never giving up is something I take pride in. I have that kid sister image that most guys see past, but it's time for you to stop and take a better look. I may be petite and look like your buddy's little sister, but I am not. I am spunky and fun and love to laugh. I can make anyone laugh and have no problems laughing at myself. Life is too damn short to be alone so why not take a chance? People are usually cuter in person and let's face it, personality certainly plays apart in how attractive someone really is. I am not 25 anymore, but don't look my age. I can do flips on the trampoline and keep up with a double header ball game without getting winded! I walk my dogs for about an hour everyday and ride my horse when I can. I play ball on Sundays and enjoy being at the cottage whenever I can. I like to go places and do different things rather than sitting on my butt on weekends. I have a pretty intense job at times, but love it just the same. Helping people really makes you feel good inside. I try to respond to everyone who writes because I feel that we need to be polite to everyone regardless if we are attracted or not. I am not looking for intimate encounters or men describing their body parts to me..(I've seen it all so many times...nothing can impress) LOLI want someone with a wicked sense of humour, a big heart and who will love me for who I am. It also would help if you could fix stuff cause my dad wants me to say that!! If I ***, I have a reason. I don't *** on looks.
