Like everyone else, I want someone who can be my best friend and partner in life. I want someone with whom I can share my interests, but who will also introduce me to new activities and places. I'm pretty open-minded and adventurous and will try most things at least once. My ideal partner will develop a natural friendship with my daughter and be someone with whom she (and I) feels safe and comfortable. I require that he be a ruthless spider killer, willing to do certain caveman jobs around the house, and will be the big spoon.I have a lot to offer in a relationship, but it has to be a two-way exchange. My personality is as diverse as my interests :) I’m the kind of girl that makes boy’s night better with my boundary-pushing humour and nrg. But I’m also the kind of girl who’ll help you renovate (probly teach u a few things while I'm at it ;), never let you get lazy (in bed, in life, or about flossing ;), and who'll impress your parents. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm extroverted, can blend in any crowd, fully embrace my wild side :), but am still the down-to-earth "girl next door" type. I’m in a good place, and to complement that am looking to meet interesting pple that might lead to an awesome relationship based on fun, warmth, shared interests and respect. In the end though it’s all chemistry, so here’s a little more about your's truly:My rewarding teaching / consulting career allows me ridiculous flexibility, which suits me well :) My idea of a great vacation is traveling somewhere ethnic (food!), remote (no tourists), and intense nature-wise and / or culture-wise (kyaking swamps until the creatures forget I'm there, jumping from waterfalls, climbing volcanoes, anything jungle-related, and dancing to live music that's got soul like nobody's watching :) I snowboard, ski, hike, kyak, and play softball regularly...and would like to get more into x-country skiing, surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, biking, conyoning, horseback riding and yoga :) They're on the to-do list! Oh yeah, and so is hangliding off of Angel Falls! (bonus pts if u've heard of it without googling! Hahaha)I like the freedom that comes with not having baby barf all over me, even though I’m so awesome that I’m a highly solicited god-parent :) I wear flip-flops and yoga pants far more than high heels and makeup; not afraid to get my hands dirty but clean up real nice, and could hang in a eucalyptus steam room any day of the week. In the city I like cafes or microbrasseries, weird Plateau-y shows, new places and booty shaking for sure (who doesn't?). But my favourite thing to do is to be outside and in nature, a lot! Walks, hikes, cottages…the whole shabang...now I got over it and just wear snowpants :) Embracing my hardcore Canadian side, I bbq-ed on the coldest day this year ;) Warning: may speak impeccable Spanish or broken Portuguese at random if exposed to temperatures exceeding -20C.Since the #1 sex organ is the mind (you'd a known that if you really, really thought about it!), I’m prompted to say that I’m easily bored by superficiality (shirtless pics on motorcycles need not apply...unless accompanied by video audition of course;). Generally, I’m attracted to people I admire, who I can learn from, and who have something to offer...like passion, humour, confidence, transparency, and adventure for starters. Note: If you ever liked Ghangham style, we cannot be friends. Something non-committal, so I can escape if you're crazy! ;)

In an effort to have my profile NOT be a basic regurgitation of just about every other woman's on here I will keep it simple. I am just like them but AWESOMER! Honestly, I am all the basics you see on other profiles. I have a great job that I love with ambition. I am smart, funny, sarcastic at times, a natural athlete that was on the IR for a while but recently got back on the soccer pitch so I am definitely in need of a good personal trainer to get back into fighting shape! I love my sports, love my music, love my movies, love being spontaneous, can be a wee bit competitive, independent, and pretty low-maintenance. Seriously. I never wear make-up, EVER! It scares the bejeezus out of me and luckily for now I do not need it. I could use a good spotter/coach. I am probably looking for what every woman is looking for. Tall. Dark is nice too. Definitely handsome! I won't go through the laundry list of what I am looking for in a man since I know what I want and the list is extensive. Not to mention the fact that it pretty much boils down to chemistry, biology, friendship, and passion in the end. I will say that another sports nut that has tattoos as well, has a dog (and can tolerate cats), and is a bit taller than I am will have a definite advantage! I want a guy that is not afraid to be himself and that self should be a good person with a wee bit of a wicked streak in him. I am a sucker for those that help others (service men, firemen, police, EMT, etc ... you get the point) and enjoy volunteerism. You know for those of us with regular jobs that have to save the world in other smaller but just as meaningful ways. One final note .... let's just keep everything real. I will be honest with you and not play any silly high school shenanigans with you. I just ask the same in return. Simple, right? :-) I am looking to meet someone to spend time with, share laughs with, go do crazy and spontaneous things with and see what happens. No pressure for labels or putting a ring on it. :-D Lets see where the chips fall.
